Re: Final Table hand from last night...

Unlike my friend who reckons that I should have stayed out of the hand because of the fact that he has me covered, i looked at it as an advantage. I saw it as a chance to double up and take a strong...

17.5k on prima.

I'm pretty sure that I played the hand correctly, but I'm more of a cash game player than a tournament player so would like confirmation.

7 players remain.

Im third in chips...

Re: Using Stars W$ to enter prelim WSOP events?

For this years WSOP, all the prelim events were shown in the pokerstars lobby and it looked like they enabled you to actually buyin to the events from here, so I put 2+2 together and thought that...

Using Stars W$ to enter prelim WSOP events?

I plan on being in vegas next summer around the start of the WSOP, and would like to enter a prelim event (probably a $1500 freezeout).

If I qualify for random stars tournys throughout the year...

How bad are the Party 200NL games?

I've been playing on the prima network for pretty much all my poker career so far, but recently I've noticed that i'm being surrounded by rocks and TAG's in my usual $200NL games. The only time i...

Re: Pointless to value bet?

I make alot of money by checking to a suspected missed draw on the river. I dont see much point in raising if he fires out a bet though. Check calling makes more sense unless I have a monster, as a...

Re: good or bad AK trips fold?

Bad fold. I'm puttin villain all-in here. With a set i think its more likely that he checks the turn, feeling his fullhouse is "unbeatable". There isn't enough evidence of a set to make me lay this...

Re: LAG play...

I love playing a LAG style in situations where it can be pulled off. At my usual prima 200NL tables, tightness of the table fluctuates pretty wildly depending on what time of the day I play...and...

Re: Failed attempt(s) at stealing.....

I agree that a check-raise on the flop would have been a viable option, but had not thought of that at the time.

By leading out on the turn I was able to better gauge the strength of the villain's...

Failed attempt(s) at stealing.....

Ok, so this hand came up in a 1/2 games on prima earlier. Anyone like it, or do you reckon i'm just spewing chips?

I'm in BB with 88, one caller in MP and then button pops it up to $8. I'm the...

Re: Thoughts on these hands?

Even though i consider my own play to be leaning towards the LAG side of things, limping with T8s from under the gun is just TOO LAG for my liking. Unless you're trying to keep opponents guessing,...
