Tricky turn decision, trickier river

No reads except stats which say this is pretty loose and passive over a small sample size.

Re: Turn Check

Looks good, if you're ahead he has next to zero outs. Boubtful he calls a turn bet without an ace or a 5 unless he has a pocket pair, so let him see the river. Hopefully he'll catch something...

I just got pimp slapped

Villain's like 15/8/2 over a small sample. He's either been card dead or he's really tight.

Re: another river bet/fold (WA/WB)

I think you played it perfectly actually. Your're getting roughly 3:1 on a call down and I think the average 3/6 lagtastic 6 max player is raising a smaller pocket pair on this dry flop 1 in 4...

When do I make a stand?

This guy raises me EVERY time it gets folded around to him and bets the flop and turn every time also. What am I to do?

Re: My blind defense sucks

Hand one looks OK. Small pot, let it go.

Hand two bet/fold the turn.

Hand three: At first I would have played it like you but after thinking about it checking behind the turn and calling...

Re: Been thinking about free showdown raises

I like it against a very passive/weak tight player but not anyone else. Many aggressive players will either 3 bet you or donk the river anyway. Some seemingly passive guys who aren't very...

AQ in the BB

Button is 32/17/2. MP is a donk

I guess I should have 3 bet this PF which would have changed things a bit, but since I didn't, how'd I do?

Re: 20k break-even, time for a checkup

Looks like your just running a tad cold based on your Won$@SD and W$WSF. 20K hands isn't near enough to level out the variance. You should also defend your big blind a little more, somewhere in the...

Re: Calling with a 3-high flush...

Even if he's betting a flush draw on the flop he still probably has around 15 outs against you. Just fold.

Re: Is pro poker right for me? [LONG]

All I can say it's tough, it's stessful, and it starts to suck really bad after about the fourth month. I went pro for about 6 months, made about 25K four tabling 3/6, then took a nine to five job...

Re: I get owned and a half.

I like calling the flop raise and donk/folding the turn. 3 betting the flop makes worse 2 outer hands fold and better hands just call. If you bet the turn and he raises again you can probably fold...

Re: Cold Call 3 and Chase; Bet Sklansky Didn\'t Teach This!

Post flop looks great IMO.

Pre flop: Your getting roughly 5:1 to call. Having it get capped won't really matter since you'll still be getting the same odds. The odds of flopping a set are...

Re: What\'s the river plan?

I'd probably cap it.

How come you are still in the hand though? I can understand your preflop call but after that I would have done a runner with so little bets in the pot.

Re: PokerRoom 5/10

I've been playing Eurobet 5/10 lately to clear the bonus but it seems like it's about 9 TAGS and LAGS to one fish per table. However the bonus plus rakeback just may make it worth it.

Re: Deranged made me forget Clarkmeister

Seems like you should have folded the turn if you weren't sure the ten of clubs would hold up on the river.

I called, but after losing to a boat I wondered if calling was correct. On the river I'm getting 11:1 on a call, and the only logical hand that he would raise here that I beat would be the Qs, and...
