Re: Did I hang myself with overthinking here?

[ QUOTE ]
Umm, people call down all the time with flush draws.

Especially when people call their all-ins when they hit.

Re: Do you ever chase a gutshot? Party 2/4 6-max

I am not sure I understand your logic. Are you saying that we need him to fold to our bluff outs AND pay us when we hit our real outs? I know that our bluff outs are more obvious, but I think that...

Do you know what happens to Trump Players Club points that a player hasn't redemmed yet?

Re: bottom set w/ 2 all-ins in front

No way your hand is good. Someone has got to have a flush or a straight.

Re: 2/5 NL Live Game, why did he make this play?

He bet $400 into a $165 pot and all he needs is a 5 for a straight. I would insta-muck. If he makes this play without a 5 in his hand, you'll have better spots to stack him later.

Oh, and JAM THE...

OESFD and LOTS of action

This hand has been killing me thinking about the correct line. Live $1-$2 game that has been running for several hours and is pretty deep. Players are all decent and relatively agressive. Hero is...

Re: First time staying downtown in Vegas - advice

Everytime I have stayed off of the Strip I have spent more than what I saved in lodging on cab fare back and forth to the strip.

Re: B&M hand question

I would call here and push any turn unless it is a J. You are almost surely ahead and he is probably drawing to 5 outs. He'll lead the turn and then be pot stuck and have to call your raise.

Re: counter \"evidence\" against \"online poker is rigged\" mentality

Day one of the WSOP main event. About 10 hours into the day and at my table the 2 seat raises from the CO. Button Folds, I fold in the SB. BB raises, CO reraises, BB thinks for a long time and calls....

Re: Detroit area casinos/hotels

There is a hotel across the street from the Greektown called the Athenium. It is a high end hotel and is definitely not cheap. I haven't seen any other hotels in the area and would be wary of any...

Re: Trump Indiana

I like the room at the Trump. They have a $2-5 NL game that runs all the time. The time charge is $7 per half hour, and they don't rake the pot. If you only have $200-$300 bucks you are better off...

I don't think any of the Vegas buffets take reservations. Bellagio and Mirage have the two best buffets in my opinion. Mirage completely renovated their buffet about two years ago and it is awesome....

Thanks for the replies, although they were a pretty mixed bag from push to call to fold. I was convinced the button would raise with a flush draw or any ace. There is no way he limp-calls with AK or...

Re: Making -ev decisions in capped buyin games to cover fish...

I do this a lot, I'll get all in with AK preflop in a live game to try to build a stack. It depends on other stack sizes. If there is a donkey on a card rush with a huge stack, I'll be more...

Re: A-A flop decision

I would push here. If he had KK he would have reraised preflop, so you are going to lose TT, JJ and QQ if an Ace or a King comes on the turn. He only has $125 left, right? He'll be getting 2-1 on his...

You are in a tough spot. Any explaining you do will sound defensive, and now you have you boss questioning your integrity.

1. Give the boss a poker lesson, and...

Overbet the flop, maybe $5 If anyone raises, push. This is a great flop to get action on, so play your hand fast. With all of the limpers, someone could definitely have two pair, flush draw or set....
