Re: bkroll building question
Play SnG's till you got 3k then play 5/10
SnG's should get you to 3k quicker than the micros
The reason then for the switch to 5/10 is like a previous poster stated, you need to get ring game...

Re: Mirage 20-40: Play This Hand Against Me
Hadn't read the resolution when I posted that, if i was hero i'd be upset with myself at calling though. With the Kings would dynasty have four bet a three bet?
If he does I lay it down.
Although...

Dynasty is likely thinking hero has a pair under aa or kk, as stated.

Re: When They Open-Limp on the Button
If he saw an ace or pocket pair in his hand he would have popped your blinds pre-flop (probably).
Think the best play is just to call him down, you might be giving him a free chance to beat you on...

Re: Calling a flop bet with a small pocket pair
In this instance I would completely ignore implied odds and call or fold based on the pot odds of making my hand on the turn. (17 to 1 so fold).
The reason being, you are not going to win the hand...

It is a shame though, online poker doesn't have the facility to muck face up when you think you know your opponent has you beat, i wouldn't do this either but my opponents would giving me more...

Re: When to show your hand
I disagree with the main reasons for showing cards,
Firstly showing bluffs, a tight image rather than a loose image is preffered for SNG's as you won't get cards all day and the bulk of your chips...

Re: Would you call this cheating?
Cheers, think it's a stronger play at limit than no limit as in NL players can counteract it by going all-in before it's my turn to act.
There are variations on it, like when it's the small...

Would you call this cheating?

Re: Why I play so crazy
SNG's are not typical NLHE. Players stack off far more frequently, they have to coz of the blinds.
If a player was getting anywhere near 80% of showdowns won in SNG's they wouldn't be playing...

Re: Wild hand early...let this one go?
I leave it, if not already left pre-flop. dont like two big cards such as AQo in multiway pots. Bet's quite small so you maybe have best hand on flop, but it'll cost your stack to find out....
