Re: short stacks can go to hell

Whenever an unknown player joins the table short I put them on the following hand range: AA-TT AK-AJ KQs.
They don't have the odds to call raises with SC and small PP.

Re: This is a stack size calling/fold situation UTG 9Ts

Average stack is around $50, you don't have odds calling a $10 raise with this hand

Re: Troubled AK Hand Big Stacks 1/3 NL

I would fold the flop as well.
Preflop there was a raise (you), then a Re-Raise and call.
Your up against 2 strong hands! You missed the flop, have no straight/flush draws - nadda.
I think your...

Does the book suggest you move all in with TPTK/OverPairs/2pair?
in addition to big draws and sets.

Re: Taking The Opposite Side (kinda long?)

Your line with KK is a little extreme I think.
Villain up to this point has put in $10 total, your throwing your entire stack at him. 20x what he invested.
Are you hoping Villain will put you on a...

Re: How much of a raise will you call with SCs?

Problem with SC is you flop draws, and when they don't complete you've lost additional chips.
5% is about the most I'm calling VS unknown players.

Re: How do I combat this very common situation?

Fold VS an unknown the vast majority of the time, reRaise once and awhile.

Re: PT: SC\'s

You need to play SC and Gapped suited Broadway cards from LP for the most part. KQs is the 'worst' suited hand I'll play from EP.

Re: Is it an advantage to be able to play other forms of poker

I'd avoid 7 card stud. It takes alot of time to become "good" and the game selection is very poor. Its also generally played for very small stakes or high.

Your best bet is to learn Omaha HI/Low...

Re: How do I get an avatar to show up?

Where do people get the hosting for these pics?
I honestly can't see many people purchase space from a host just to put a pic up.

Re: JJ overpair heads up on monotone flop, facing check/call/push

I'd fold. A flush & straight are on board. A set is always possible.
You could even be up against QQ/KK/AA (though I seriously doubt it)

The only possible hand I can see push that you beat is an...

I also love how UB is lightning fast, and how they rotate the table to put you in the center. I'm amazed no other site does this.

Re: AA facing a flop raise all-in

Easy call given your stack size.

Now assuming you had a 1K stack, I'd fold here.

Re: Beating online Bacarrat?

There is mention of this on wizardofodds. You can infact gain an edge but its so tiny its not worth the effort.
