I think it's ok to take a shot with 10 buys and to drop down if you lose 2. Maybe you'll run well at first and make a few buys before you hit a downswing. At least it gives you a chance to move up...

Good idea. Build a roll and then take a shot. Don't be afraid to move back down if it doesn't work out well at first. And post hands. Good luck.

i agree that 1K is enough to take a shot. But if you drop 2 buys, I would move back down to regain confidence and rebuild roll.
