Re: 357 poker question

Everyone sees the cards shown down, but you show only the cards you need to win (i.e. player one shows KK, player two shows A3 and not his A35).

Re: Anyone up for Seneca Allegany Saturday night

Missed you by a night. The 2-5NL was beyond juicy Friday night.

Did they get 5-10 limit going? I've only seen 4-8 there twice, so the thought that they'd run 5-10 makes me laugh. They say...

Re: Histort/Details about New York State Indian Poker Rooms?

[ QUOTE ]
Seneca Allegany is 16 or so tables, opened last year. STock rules, but for the first timers, the floor there has about 1/100 of a clue.
...
Chips there are horrendous, if I recall. They...

Re: Seneca Niagara CanAM Tournanment this weekend

Am considering it, but I don't care for the structure of a lot of the Seneca tournaments so I am not sure it's worth the drive up for me. Might go for the side games nonetheless.

Re: A No-Shuffle home game? Would this work?

[ QUOTE ]

So..what if I bought about 200 decks of cards and pre-shuffled them, put them back in their boxes, and made up some system which randomizes when a deck gets used (picking it out of a hat...

Re: Closest B&M room to Western PA

You'd be surprised. There are very few major-brand hotels in the vicinity of Salamanca, and those that do exist are usually filled on weekends with the casino crowd. The truly "cheap" hotels aren't...

Re: Playing Flopped 2 Pair?

What really sucks about this holding is, as has been pointed out, that this isn't even top two pair and that you're already limited to high-only. It's also important to point out, though, that even...

Re: Seneca Niagara and Turning Stone

All the Seneca casino poker rooms use those crappy ceramic chips, which just barely beat using $1 and $5 stacks of nickels. I play Niagara occasionally but Allegany more frequently; both rooms are...

Re: Where to play in Western NY?

[ QUOTE ]

Edit...Oh and I've never seen Omaha spread at Allegheny but I have seen it at Niagara. Not sure if they still do or not though.

[/ QUOTE ]

I've played omaha and omaha/8 there a...

Re: Rude Desk At Seneca Niagara Falls

Doesn't surprise me at all. The dealers were friendly and (more or less) competent, but the floor staff absolutely couldn't care less about getting you into a game unless you're a regular to the...

Re: Seneca Hillside Classic on Jan 30th

Seneca Allegany isn't a bad place but is very very rarely full. 16 tables, usually spread 2/4 and 3/6 limit and 1/2 (100max) and 5/5 (500max) NL games. I've only seen all 16 tables in action once,...

Re: Do you play @ Seneca Niagara in Salamanca NY?

Hello yourself, Bud. I'm there about once a week or a little more. What games do you play?
