Re: A2s in BB

I don't see a need to bet the turn. I would check and hope for an ace. You will not get a pair to fold, and many people will call with overs including better aces that will call a river bet as well.

Re: KQo and i\'m first to act

I play it the exact same way. I do not think the river raise necessarily means an ace. If he had an ace he would have bet the turn.

Re: What do you \"deserve\" as far as comps?

I am a firm believer that if I play more than 6-8 hours in a casino I should not have to pay for a meal. Breaks on rooms are always nice, but I understand that the house is making less money off of...

Re: So I am a big wuss....

Seems about right to me. You would have been faced with some tough decisions if you got raised on any street.

[ QUOTE ]
I agree with you, I think his turn CR is baaaaaad.

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree completely. Wait to get that extra bet in once you make your hand.

Re: 15/30 TT

I usually call down in this situation, but I usually regret it. I do not like the cap pre-flop. When the BB comes back over the top he has either a pair bigger than yours or two overcards. I call...

I don't think you are going to get three bet on the flop since you three bet pre-flop. I raise to try and knock out BB and go for the free card.

Re: QQ, all spade board, on the button

Check behind. I also would have checked behind on the turn. This hand will be a lot easier to play if you three bet preflop.

Re: Another uncommon line.

I don't like the turn raise at all. He is going to call you down with an ace or any heart. There is not enough money in the pot to take a shot. Also, fold pre-flop.

Re: 15/30, JT posting - quick checkup

Fold preflop. You are not likely to just take the blinds from there and there are two players that can call and put you out of position.

Edited to say I did not see you posted a blind. I...

Re: 15/30 QJoffsuit - Not sure if I should have done this

Congrats on taking down a big pot, but you should probably wait to isolate this guy until you get some better cards.

Re: something\'s just not right...

I agree with Westley's analysis, but also would like to add that you are putting too much credit into stats after 200 hands. Even the VPIP takes longer than that to converge, but you do know that he...

Re: Tax Q -- Taking A Shot To Offset Wins

Your logic is flawed because your tournament winnings will add to your income for the year, and will be taxed.

Re: What Do I Do With This QQ?

Given your read of "total fish" I dont think there is any other way to play it.

Re: QQ in a big pot

Without a read on the small blind I do not like the raise on the turn. A cap like that screams AA-JJ, and you can not beat any of those hands let alone what the other caller has behind you.

Re: No idea how to play this one

I would check/fold the flop. Without a read, you can not beat any hands that MP2 is capping with.
