Anyways, if you're making a mistake folding, it can't be a big mistake since it's hard to put the aggressor on something like 9-5 for the smaller two...

Re: 6/12 B&M Hand

It's hard to fault you for how you played the hand. If you think the CO is a typical over-aggressive player, you should raise the flop like you did. If you think the CO is just plain solid, you...

Re: 6/12 Laydown - Is this what Ed Miller means by pot\'s too big?

I can see why you folded this. It looks like you're calling to chop occasionally and lose pretty often.

I'd probably call in the heat of battle and fold to a check-raise. The check-raise would...

Re: A common situation I hate

I'd have troubles calling down after getting c/r'd. If it were heads-up, I'd call down just so that players don't feel they can run you over and make you fold at whim. This guy is c/r'ing the both...

Re: Cooling down from 6-max... A4o hand.

I'd raise preflop.

As it played out, I would typically call the river and be very very confused.

Re: I suck at playing overcards.

I have an idea you can try. When you make your continuation bet on the flop and get called by 1 player who has position on you, try this: If you have a hand, often check-raise or check-call the...

Re: Do I have enough to call?

You should usually bet the flop here. There is no guarantee that you are behind, and probably have 6 outs when you get called. You also might end up folding someone with a weak pair while getting...

I'd bet the flop. Fold to a c/r.

In your case, with tainted outs, i'd fold the turn....

[/ QUOTE ]

If you are folding to a flop c/r automatically, you'd better not bet the flop....

Unusual hand preflop. MP2, MP3, and CO all post. I'm in MP1 with KTo. Two people call before me. Should I call? I folded, but is it close either way?

He had K2o, I called his raise and MHIG.

When I bet the river, my plan was to fold if raised. When it actually happened though, I took a look at my note that he calls down w/bottom pair + good...

Re: trouble with middle pairs (77)

For what it's worth, I think you played this well. You're quite often looking at a 9 having called you. But sometimes it's just A-high or a deuce or smaller pocket pair. You'll catch most of those...

Re: Problems with Aggresive Games

You're not going to be winning quite as much on these sorts of tables as you think.

In the first hand, I would check the flop behind. If you catch good on the turn, hopefully someone will bet it...

Re: BB special, flops the stupid end; What to do now?

I think if you raise you might get someone to fold a ten. So, I would raise. Also, some people are going to call you drawing near dead anyhow.

Party 2-4: Need a river plan

Ok, this should be simple but for whatever reason, I just can't think this through. It's probably that I've got no clue what the other guy has.

Here are the notes I took on villain this session:...

Re: 2/4 - I think I only got the flop right on this one.

I don't think I'd take a flop.

Party 2-4 good flop stab?

Here are the notes I took on the one villain this session (although this hand is so multiway that it probably doesn't especially matter):

Re: 67s on the button, 8 to the flop, i flop top pair

You're supposed to raise preflop. Then the rest of the hand is much easier. Also, 3-betting the flop the way you played it is a strong option.
