The fold on the river is tough... T8 is also a likely holding, as if JJ/TT/99/88 ... KK and QQ probably would push sooner. 2 pair is very likely holding. I am aww struck by how much credit we give...

The only option is to over bet the flop... otherwise it is the risk you take... the over call is give or take depending on what you put the opponent on. you could have bet $1-2 on the river, and...

all in pre flop.... make him race, if he has AA or KK (about 1 time in every 22 times you get QQ) then you loose, but push more preflop... on the flop you are screwed no diamond, no real draw... and...
