Re: your vote on 89s
clear fold.
If you limp, some donkbox with A6o is gonna raise to 100 and you're just pissing away chips.

Re: new strategy?
Against the donkbox calling station at these limits i dont think you want to gamble preflop in the early stages. You can use your postflop skills to take their chips by playing ABC poker.

I've started to play a lot of NL omaha hi/lo on stars. I was wondering if there is a site that has some of the more useful odds relating to this game.
For example, I would like to know the odds...

Re: Short stacked - when to push
A lot of people tend to wait as long as possible (until they are UTG) to make their desperation push, but I disagree. First chance you get with any hand that has any hope in good position just push...

Re: Play looser at low buyins?
Basically the only time I ever fold QQ is if its level 1 or 2 and I raise and 2 ppl behind me reraise or push. That usually indicates a better hand is out there. You are right though, most of the...

Re: Stars 22s sustainable?
I've only played 200ish at the $22's at stars, and I'm about 44% ITM so far. By no means am I an expert at the stars structure but I believe 50% ITM is probably achievable for excellent players...

Re: Grand Slam!!!!!
The closest i came was yesterday, when I won 3 out of 4 and busted 3rd in the other (with AA of all hands!!!). It sucks to get that close and lose with a monster.

Re: PP vs Poker stars
Party does take some skills to beat, just a different set of skills. You can't play "solid" poker, you have to keep poooooooooooooshing.

Re: HU Strategy. . .
Push/Fold is definately the way to go. If you start playing 8-tables or more you will enjoy the simplicity of this strategy.
I just had a 17 heads-up win streak snapped today. :-(

Re: How to play AA early in tournament
I raise to between 90 and 125 preflop in level 1 with AA/KK/QQ. You don't want to play AA against 3+ players and a raise to 75 or less will NOT get rid of any pocket pairs or any other random junk...

In level 1 or 2 you will still have 3 or 4 complete donkeys who will call your push after they have raised. If there is a significant raise and a call in front of me I usually just push here and...

Good quiz. It would be very valuable to have a 'quiz of the day/week'. What do you think?
