Re: KQ...flop check okay?

*bump*

2-4 Starting requirements. Too loose?

I had an argument with my friend about what hands are acceptable to call raises from in the SB and button.

Is it too loose in a 6-handed game against typical 2-4 opposition who overvalues hands...

Re: 10-20 NL at Bellagio

Re: AA line check. 2-4, 3 flush board

This is a line you could take once in a while against an observant oppenant. On this board, you're either behind, but not way behind, or ahead a lot. So, if hes laggy/tricky enough, I would take the...

Re: Theory Post: On position

For one thing, you don't have to waste bets on Stop and goes and make your transparant when you do so. For instance

AA on a T82 board. If you lead out, get raised, you may feel it necessary to...

Theory Post: On position

I think I understand the advantages of position to a certain extent, but not fully. To me, it means the following:

- it allows you to pick up more small pots
- allows you to stack other players...

Re: Ugh... Why did I bet this flop. 2-4

against aggressive oppenants, I probably will gain more by taking a more passive line. Thanks 2+2!

Re: The Nuts and a tough 2/4 river decision

The point is marlow, although you should be suspicious about the SB's hand, against the range of hands that you're up against and with the pot at 100, any hand you bet and get then get raised by is...

Re: 2-4 Hands. poor played?

how does the combination of my willingness to call a river bet, bet if checked to, and unclear situation with my hand affect my turn play?

Re: Totally lost - QQ Party 30/60

It doesnt seem like a flop raise is for "value". Nobody who caught any piece of the flop is making a "mistake" by calling a raise on the flop so what is the point? YOu're not gaining anything, the...

Re: Playing like a big boy... 10/20 split aces...

Wait, I'm confused, why aren't you drawing to your two pair on the river, getting 11-1 odds on what seems to be Ks or Qs up?

Re: A series of 10/20 hands against the same villain....(long)
