Re: Best 18+ casinos for highstakes players

Winstar on the OK/TX border is 18+. They spread 10/20 LIMIT and a 5/10NL that has some crazy action. I have seen 20/40limit and 10/25NL interest lists, but certainly not a steady game at that level

Re: Openraise 97o in the SB?

If i remember this correctly from the video, hero did not have many hands at all on the oppenent. This play struck me as funny when I saw it on the video, but I figured there was a good reason for...

Re: Winstar Report (OK/TX border)

Yeah I went yesterday and asked Emmitt (the big floor guy) about the new room and he said they have delayed the opening. First estimates put it at opening in mid oct. (like right now) but they have...

Re: The Sociology of Poker?

Clearly a VERY shortsided view of sociology is held by your responders to this post. I think its funny that a forum filled with psychology responses would snub the whole field of sociology like that....

Re: Daniel Negreanu Has Never Had a Royal Flush?

I rivered 2 royal flushes within 20 minutes of eachother playing 3/6 6max on eurobet a few weeks ago, both w/ AQs. It was sick. First one i flopped only a Js and hit runner runner and the second I...

I take 5 or 7 days off from playing limit online to play live no limit. I take about 4 days completely off from poker a month

Re: DRUNKEN PLAY

I play my serious poker on eurobet but I still have a party account that I keep a few hundred bucks in for sng's and drunken shenanigans in O/8 and auto pushing w/ 2 cards above an 8 in the 25NL...

Re: 3/6 6m another quick little preflop thingy (really)

In my experiences (30k hands) at 3/6 i think a call here makes this a 4 way pot a lot of the times. Obviously this is ideal for your hand which plays well multiway and especially from the button. It...

Re: LAG limp/raises Preflop question

How are you going to limp in the sb with AJ on a 6max table? Yeah i know the sshe part about not raising AK-ATo in the blinds b/c you are out of position and hand doesnt play that well multiway, but...

Re: Online guy going to Winstar for first live NL action

Re: The old gosh darnit calldown

I would call down here without a read, especially since its 3/6 6max. This is where I play the most and can definitely see villian taking this line with a worse hand. I could see an A...

Re: Winstar Report (OK/TX border)

I would say up to 90% of the people playing at winstar are from the dallas/ft. worth area. Ive played in the 2/5NL game there for the last 3 months, a few times a week, and I just love it. There are...

Re: Taj 1/2 NL first time, short buy-in?
