Re: Party $10/$20 NL - What is the largest turn bet Hero can call here?

thats my thinking...although maybe UTG has 88?

Re: jamming quads.

agreed...

u described your opponent as the type who is not going to make this call unless he has AA...

Re: turn min-raises are fun... good spot for it?

ok, so he's never led into a raiser before....but he bets 60% of the pot on the flop,...

Re: Results and my comments

i'm surprised that MP would not raise the small stack to try and isolate...make it 50-60...it would certainly be easier for him to get away from his hand once the tightish player with AA reraises...

Re: Quiz: test your EV instinct

my first instinct was that i should probably call because i misread that opponent had a set (but a random set) and so you would have the advantage on flushes....given top set 100% of the time, its...

Re: TO CLEAR THIS UP FOR EVERYONE

richie, you need to stop using twodimes references to defend your position, it's not correct logic...

Re: TO CLEAR THIS UP FOR EVERYONE

richie its quite simple...

you keep bringing up twodimes info and putting it out there as a large part of your reasoning...but those values are based on all-in percentages, not hitting a good flop...

Re: Let me explain this in layman\'s terms...

i'm not denying anything you are saying...and yes, against the types of players willing to back their pair with their entire stack, there are a variety of ways to take their money...and 87o *can* be...

Re: Let me explain this in layman\'s terms...

the entire situation is player dependent...i've won some huge pots at B&M with 67o, T9o, etc against aces; i was willing to call a preflop raise because the stacks were deep enough and i knew i could...

Re: 25/50 meta game play

if he is a calling station who gives a lot of action on the flop, does it really make sense to reraise preflop with 22 when he is short-stacked? He may only flop a pair 1/3 of the time, but since he...
