Re: LC: Who else slow rolls with AA short handed?

[ QUOTE ]
If he was multitabling, had a dodgy connection, scratching his ass or getting coffee a 10 second pause is not that unusual.

Don't read things into delays.

Re: I\'m back, serious thoughts on possible 215 ROI\'s

[ QUOTE ]
didn't really read your post, but 6% is a bogus number.

[/ QUOTE ]

6% is definitely too low. I'm north of that and I have more leaks in my game than the titanic. I wouldn't be...

Re: Preflop $215 hand-QQ

I agree that button has a wide range here, but there are too many others still in the pot to do anything but fold.

Re: So, you\'re 4 tabling and your cable internet goes down.....what no

If you're that concerned about it you can get a cheap dial-up plan as a backup.

Re: Whose play is worse?

[ QUOTE ]
Unless blinds are going up very soon, I don't like the push.

[/ QUOTE ]

Agree. The blinds aren't really worth stealing and if you get a call you're almost certainly a dog.

Re: Party 55, Who\'s the donk here?

[ QUOTE ]
I'm amazed at all the responses that say to push. This is a fold and I fold this all day every day. I'm not tight on the bubble by any means, but people like opening up their ranges and...

Re: 2 AK hands, your play?

[ QUOTE ]
My first thought on the first hand was that villain isn't folding pre-flop after betting 30% of his stack. Against any pair, you're a coin flip (blech). Since you're first to act after the...

Re: SNGs and MTTs -- like ice cream and ketchup

[ QUOTE ]
nah, i like it. then if i get deep in a mtt i can stop loading stt's.

[/ QUOTE ]

This is my strategy as well. MTTs usually start out so slow that I like having a couple of STTs...

Re: The Most Donkeyfied Play I\"ve ever made-Please punish me severely

1. Yeah, that sucked pretty bad. Did you really think you were getting anyone out with that feeble pre-flop raise?

2. Raise to a minimum of 400 pre-flop.

Re: folded JJ on the bubble to raise+reraise... too tight?

Normally raise+re-raise means that JJ is an easy fold, but on the bubble I don't think I fold this. The only hands you are a dog to are QQ KK AA and I think a re-raise all-in in that circumstance...

Re: 8th place

No way I make that push. KQo is just not that good of a hand. You would need a really good read on the guy (which you obviously didn't have) to make that push worthwhile, IMO.

Re: Don\'t understand this ($555)-Stars

JOhny's raise is a good one. He has original raiser covered and Original raiser know that SS is all but out.

Related question about the opponent: Would you call an all-in reraise, in the 2nd hand of a SNG, with AK?

[/ QUOTE ]

Nope, but I see it all the time, even at $215.

Re: JJ bubble question

I fold this without hesitation.

Think about it from villain's perspective. He's 2nd stack, betting 27% of his chips into the only player with enough chips to take him out. Meanwhile, it's the...
