Re: Scuba_Curtains:Maybe I have something to learn about AK

exactly why I don't like calling here...

I'd fold this in a sng, but probably not in an MTT.

Re: 22$ first hand QJs in BB

[ QUOTE ]
Why do you check the flop? Are you hoping that it gets checked all the way through?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because the odds that you'll take this down on the flop are approximately nil, imo. ...

Re: ($33) AJs UTG

At the 25/50 level I sort of stop playing unles there's a really good chance of winning this pot. IMO, playing AJs UTG in a 11-33 is just asking for trouble. You'll rarely win the blinds, and will...

Re: ($33) -ROI help continued: Too many 4ths?

Jesus 4 handed on level 4 in a $30? Wow.

I actually like the limp here, especially if the big stack is aggro. If he makes his standard raise, often times the shorty will find a fold, but the key...

Re: Hand from Bellagio 5 diamond

I think the retards will think he looks retarded. I think the rest of the table fears him after this hand, if he has a decent amount of chips left.

If he tabled AK instead of AQ, then maybe he...

Re: Hand from Bellagio 5 diamond

I think you are right about her folding all but the top two hands given how she played previously, and her line looks very much like AA,AK,KK and maybe TT-QQ. Only one of those hands should be...

Re: Amateur Filmmaking

I've been out of the loop for a while, but as the other poster said your best idea is probably just to go out and do it. There are places to rent camera equipment in every city, and generally you...

Re: i think this is a surprisingly complex foxwoods hand,,,

Would you ever fold AA? At first I thought hero should have never looked at his/her cards, but now that Sirio mentioned the superstack in the BB, I think the odds of this being a multihanded pot go...

Re: i think this is a surprisingly complex foxwoods hand,,,

If we assume the average stack is around 100k, looks like a fold. Doubling and even tripling won't neccessarily put hero in a position to do damage with the flat payout over the next few spots.

I...

Re: some of my Foxwoods ME hands (rip the donkey who only got 13th)

Hand 2 - I think the standard line is to reraise here, and it looks like pretty much anything pot commits you. With no read on UTG and that much dead money in the pot it's tempting.

As the hand...

Re: some of my Foxwoods ME hands (rip the donkey who only got 13th)

Why is that? Assuming Gavin knows Sheets can play, why would he overbet the pot with a hand that has Gavin drawing to 2 outs and possibly 0? Wouldn't a great player try and extract a little value...

Re: some of my Foxwoods ME hands (rip the donkey who only got 13th)

I can't believe the fold on hand 1. I would never put you on a straight or set given that action.

Re: 82o on button 6xBB

You might find something better to push with, but what are the odds you'll be in good position in a pot that has yet been raised?

There are a lot of considerations I'd take before pushing, like...

Re: $22 A,Q mid pair and nut flush draw

Hmm. I don't think you need to c/r allin here. If you are behind you are going to get called, and if you are ahead he's got very few outs to beat you. I'm perfectly ok with check calling this one...

Re: (22) Level 5...99 UTG, your play?

This might be one of the few spots where I'd mininraise it to 350 or so, but I'd hate to see someone just call behind. Given the relative stack sizes, I don't think that's going to happen.
