I agree.. i cannot see a significant improvement in using jni to call a c++ backend (if any). The old Java-is-too-slow-for-anything argument doesn't hold up anymore.

Thanks for the tip, Prod1gy.. I wasn't aware of this. I wonder if they're just scanning executables (or running processes) for signatures.. or if they're actuallying adding hooks which 'listen'...

Yeah, I agree.. as with any mining software, it probably goes against the pp agreement.. use at your own risk.
