Re: JJ in BB

I had no intention in calling the river bet for the reasons all of you mentioned. I was more interested in my flop and turn play. I definitely think I should've bet 2/3+ on the flop. That could...

Villain has been pretty active, playing lots of pots. I just took a big pot from him.

Please comment on all streets. I'm just starting to learn ring games so anything would help.

flopped set - but does he have hearts

Stars $25 6-max

I've been at the table for a few orbits. Haven't gotten into any big hands yet. Showed down a small bluff one time. I have seen villain playing some questionable hands, and has...

Re: Table Selection Question

I usually make an effort to at least watch a couple of orbits before sitting down. I look for who's tight PF, who's playing every hand, who are the aggressors, who are the passive callers, etc.

6 max - river decision or better yet turn decision

I've been playing pretty tight. Not too much of a read on villain other than being tight PF. How bad did I screw up the flop and turn. Some help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: AA - to fold or not to fold?

Sorry about the stack sizes. I had about 950 and they both had roughly 700-800.

Yeah, I agree the PF raise was just asking for lots of customers. As far as the flop play, yeah a raise wasnt in...

AA - to fold or not to fold?

I can't get my hand history from work, so I'm going off my recollection of the hand.

This is a $20 on Party. Level 2 blinds. 9 players left.

Hero has AA on the button. 3 limpers, I make it 3x...

Re: Flopped trips facing a lot of action

Thanks for the advice. I had MP on 2 pair, but I was kind of lost with SB. When it came to the river, I had a feeling I was ahead, but SB with 88 or TT was still enough of a possibility to make me...

Flopped trips facing a lot of action

Have been at the table for about 20 minutes. MP seems like a loose passive. SB is aggressive PF and postflop. Other than that no good reads other than SB would usually raise PF with a pocket pair....

Re: blind stealing hand

I had been stealing quite a few blinds up to this point, so my thought was that BB knew that. I put him on a mid pocket pair.

He ended up having KK, so I was a little off...

Why I always bust out 4th in the 20+2

I'm mostly a $10+1 level player, but have tried to move up to 20s a few times, only to get slapped back down to the $10s. I've played only about 20 of these and after checking PokerTracker, I seem...
