Re: I have never run so bad....

Somehow reminds me of the last session I played, which abruptly ended when, in a 5 minutes span, QQQ got beat by 9999 and 888 got beat by 2222.

Crazy game.

edit: bad beats like that do tend to...

Re: $60 per hour?

Definitely possible.

Set, drawy board, bad villain

Villain is 70/20/0.6 so far, I've seen him bet quite a bit though when it's checked to him.

How's my line ?

Playing a LAG with a set

Villain is LAG, 45/34/4 in 120 hands

Should I repop the flop, or maybe let him lead the turn ? (I thought checking the turn might be dangerous if he has a draw and decides to peel one off).

Re: they say poker is one long session

The money I'd stand to lose by reraising w 78s and 44 would not make up for the action I'd get on my aces, kings and queens when I reraise those preflop.

Apparently, this is not your case and...

Re: Top pair vs poor player

Let's say I bet 9 on flop and he repops to 18, should I be willing to reraise here ? His flop raising range probably includes FD, Q, set, combo-draw. I might then be inclined to raise ?

If I flat...

6-Max : Reraising with JJ preflop

This thread really has 2 questions about jacks.

1. Do you ever reraise with JJ preflop at 6-max ?
What conditions do you look for before repopping ?

High PFR from villain ?
Weak raise ?...

AA vs semi-tight raiser

Villain is 30/7.

Preflop, I think I should've made it 14-15. Do you flat call sometimes here with someone left to act ? Anyone make it more than 15 ?

Once he calls I narrow his range to JJ-KK....
