I won't tell.

That's ok. I've played against the same bot and I spotted the tell. Whenever it hit a draw...

Re: Seems like you guys spend more time talking about money than poker

And FWIW, I would wait until I no longer described myself as a fish before I started throwing out Heads-up challenges.

AND don't be offended, I am truly curious in...

Re: Should I play 5/10 at the Taj?

You CAN hit 50 bb loss in night at 5-10. There are nights where all your good strong getting odds to play draws never come in, or worse, hit while someone just got a bigger and more unlikely hand....

Re: Raise pocket 9\'s in EP?

Just glancing at this thread w/out putting too much into it...

It seems like many of the replys here:
a) Overvalue pocket pairs
b) Think 99 is similar to AA
c) Overvalue flopped...

Re: Rules about reading your OWN hand?

[ QUOTE ]
I ran into somewhat of a similar situation last weekend.
Basically one player showed her hand, which was a flush. Her opponent mucked and she began to collect the pot. The board read K...

Re: Raise pocket 9\'s in EP?

I can't quote formulas to back it up, but I believe this is one of those really close decisions. That's why I like to use this hand to mix up my game some, feel minimal harm either way long as you...

Re: useless LC post

Whoops. I didn't know you were a professional. That does make my post more than "kinda" useless. I thought you were just a regular guy ( not that you're not, you know what I mean).

Your post is not useless, but mine kinda is. But I just felt compelled to comment on what a wonderfully helpful and compassionate response Chesspain made.

Please heed his advice, you'll get none...

Re: I feel guilty being agressive and winning money

Nobody wants to take advantage of a serious problem like that, but this description doesn't sound like it. Problem gamblers don't bust out in 5 minutes and go away.

Re: I feel guilty being agressive and winning money

Poker is fun. If they are just dabbling around for something to do with entertainment $, why feel guilty? would you rather them loose it at blackjack or roulette?

Re: Poker apparel outside of poker events ie in public places

I don't wear poker clothes. I'm probably too old to pull it off ( If it is indeed pulloffable ). Nah, not really, I don't give a rat's turd what anybody thinks.

I don't because I might get...

Re: QQ.....what\'s the plan?

Re: Bet/Fold on River or Bet/Call?

I play this exactly the way you did, including betting out on the river. You can't put a player like this on a hand very well, but I'm thinking he has a pair of 7's on flop, called when the 8 showed....
