Re: Aces and queens against an allin, what would you do?

Well, I thought about it for about two minutes then I told him that I know he has the j10 and I showed him my hand and folded and he was kind enough to show his straight. Not betting the flop made me...

Ok, I may have mis said that, he has a wider starting hand range than a tight player but he would not risk his chips unless he has a hand.

Then you fold. And...

Re: Aces and queens against an allin, what would you do?

I don't know for sure, but let's see what is his range? I don't see him having AK, the reason is I know how he plays, he would not limp in with that, he could have 88, 33 or j10. I don't see him...

Re: Aces and queens against an allin, what would you do?

And have him lay it down? if you knew he was on a gut shot, wouldn't you want him to call here?

Re: Aces and queens against an allin, what would you do?

Well, my turn bet was 1/3 of the pot so it's not bad, also, I did want him to call, if I wanted the pot I woulda moved allin.

Re: Horrible play and an expensive reminder

In my opinion, the flop call is the worst thing I've seen. Either check-raise or check-fold( In my case fold). I also don't like the pre flop action, you were not invested in that hand and I don't...

Re: JJ preflop

I don't understand why people tend to overplay their hands and risk their chips. Call and see the flop, you're in position and you still have chips to play with.

This is a reply to jma's post.

Re: Playing AKo against a massive stack

You would think so, right? amazingly, there were so many players that thought this was an overbet, I'm talking about players who played in the WSOP and made it far, TV people.

We are down to 19 players out of 100. I am UTG with about 8,500 chips, blinds are 400/800 with a 150 ante. I have AKo, the guy to my left is the chip leader with a massive chip stack. My move was to...

Re: Flopped a straight, slow played it and saved my self an early exit

Would you not call the all in with a straight and the straight flush draw? That's what I meant by going broke, I would have called the all in.
