Re: What do you do? Line checks, BBuddy and unknown

He wasn't trying to get anyone to fold. He was building a pot with a drawing hand.

That said, you should probably raise more, unless this is how you open all hands. If you raise differently w/ AA...

Re: What do you do? Line checks, BBuddy and unknown

[ QUOTE ]
Fold around to me - Hero calls (20)(would most try to steal here?) BB was very aggro and I didn't want to get in a pissing war preflop with this hand.

Of course you...

Re: Reverse domination in deep games

I think youre going to get in trouble with these hands.

Offsuit aces are bad. I personally NEVER play offsuit aces below AT, even shorthanded. AT and up can makes the nut str8, while A2 A3 A4 A5...

Re: WTF Stars 10/20 ?? (lc)

Four, wow. Luckily for them you don't play such low stakes.

Re: In real deep ( over 750 BB)

You didn't have a huge hand. You had one pair, and no spade on an all spade flop. That's actually a pretty weak postflop hand.

Given your read of "this guy is crazy, so I'm going to show down this...

Re: Bluffing?

You bluff when you have good reason to think your opponent will fold.

"Because I'm betting a lot of chips" is not a reason.

You need to have a good idea what your opponent is holding and you...

Re: 50/100 unraised pot, little help probably boring

Bet pot on turn. Then you know you arent against a bluff if button plays, and small chance he has worse nine if he raises turn or pots river.

Re: Trash talking

I assure you that nothing you type in the chat box will put me on tilt. Losing multiple large pots in weird ways in a short period of time is the only thing that makes me tilt.

And I have no idea...

Re: Trash talking

In only the rarest of cases will I talk trash after stacking.

For one thing, it has the highest chance of actually prompting the target to leave the table. Also I think it's usually unnecessary...

Re: Commerce 10/20 - Bad Call with Bottom Set?

Two Things.

First to answer your question, strictly speaking yes these are two bad calls. The obvious scenario is that he is drawing to 10 outs w/ no chance of getting paid if he hits, and he cold...

Re: It\'s clear I don\'t know how to play QQ

If he's a rock and you know his reraise is serious, why did you reraise him lol.

In general, dont 3-bet QQ preflop.

When he reraises call and hope to hit a set, and evaluate whether he might...

Re: Multi-way 10/20 ps, 500bb stacks

500bb vs 1kbb doesnt change the issue here.

Re: Results

I don't think this counts as slowplaying. He didnt have a chance to put in a safe raise, as str8 was possible on flop and then flush on turn. If he had been slowplaying he would have made a move on...

Re: Maybe this is just standard...

Either play is fine. Which you choose depends on a number of factors, the primary one being what you think the chance is that your opponent will fold.

If you bet, bet more.

Re: Multi-way 10/20 ps, 500bb stacks

If button has the A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif, then wtf does UTG have?

Sticking it all in to "show" something to H@ is idiotic for multiple reasons, one of which being that he isnt the player...

Re: Multi-way 10/20 ps, 500bb stacks

His hand range is quite large. But he would have raised somewhere if he had a strong hand. I doubt he has a hand as good as a set. He is not the one to be worried about.

Against KellyQQ I lean...

Re: Multi-way 10/20 ps, 500bb stacks

The primary factor in making a decision here is what you know about the two players.

If the button is H@, then you definitely have him beat.

Good chance that UTG doesn't put you on a flush...

Re: see mike push. push mike, push

It does not make sense to raise more w/ QQ than with AA.

If anything I'd do the opposite, because I want to get as much money in preflop w/ AA, whereas w/ QQ the flop is quite important. Also, AA...

Re: 5/10 deep AQs hand against a lunatic

In general I would not go all in on this flop, even with 100bbs.

In this scenario I probably wouldnt even raise flop. He's betting small so just call and make a hand before you give him a chance...
