Hand histories

Is there a resource online for reading hand histories from the big tournaments? Obviously, the full HH's will be a bit much, but final table action should be a good read.

Re: Curtains: no fear

I feel that if you are in a game in which you are (correctly) more aggresive than your opponents, you must work to conserve a little bit of your image, and start folding some hands that you might...

$55: JJ

Is this preflop call OK? I was strongly considering checkraising his weak flop bet, but thought there were too many players left to act, what do you think of this?

Yeah, you said it yourself, no reason to expect a good player.

Re: $55 Quick check 2: A5o headsup preflop

Heads up is a game of reads and rythm in my opinion, but pushing will never be bad here.

Re: $55 Quick check 3: KJo on BB facing SB miniraise

Push, unless you have a specific reason to suspect trickiness.

Re: $55 Quick check 1: 88 UTG

My suggestion: Raise to 600, fold to push from BB. Not sure what to do about push from MP. Pick one and hate it I guess.

Re: Want to get back into the game...suggestions

I think you have some good points, but I don't agree with setting results oriented goals for yourself. Your win rate during any given week will be hugely erratic, and should not be the focus of too...

Re: OT: Do you have an unlucky hand?

Yeah! Also, its crap that suited hands are better. You only have half the normal number of flushes available!!!

Re: $55: pocket fours hand

I am not talking about the amount of chips you have, but about your image.
I think it is absolutely key to balance the number of raises you make pre-flop so that you maintain the wrongfully tight...

Re: $55: pocket fours hand

I hear people saying raise, but I definetely prefer mucking it to preserve FE for bigger and nicer blinds. Playing a flop with this hand has so much less value than the advantage you will have over...

Re: $55: When to do a continuation bet out of position vs 2 opponents?

I think way too much credit is being given to the $55-crowd in this thread. The fact is, when two players call off 10% of their stack preflop in a 55'er, they are rarely going to have a hand that...

Re: Pushing AQ too early in the tournament?

It's fine. The best you can hope for is someone seeing an act of desperation and calling with A9.

I was also wondering about the fear of the flush draw, and the likelihood that at least one of the 2 opponents are holding 2 hearts.
It is one thing to calculate the probability of at least one of...

Re: Probablity that none of 2 callers has a diamond when flops all suited

The probability that a card not in the flop is not a diamond is:

(number of non-diamonds left)/(number of cards left)

Calculate this number and multiply for each card.

For 2 players (4...

Chance of 1 player holding 2 spades is 5,09% (easy), but already by the 2nd...

Re: Is PokerTracker really useful for SnG\'s?

I don't think it is necessarry like it is to the cash game player. It's just very practical for a number of purposes.

If you only play a few SnG's now and then it's value is greatly reduced...
