Re: But I\'ve Got a Spade!

I think check-raising flop is usually best play if opponent can lay down hands. If he has no spade or top pair he will fold instantly.

If he calls or 3-bets you can fold.

Or is this line too...

Re: Another four-flush hand

On 4th street betting is not bad. But with non-nut flush draw, tiny pot and 4 opponents I would also consider checking if opposition is passive.

5th street play is bad. You should have folded 5th...

Re: What is your line?

Check-fold is far too timid here. So let's put up a fight. You represented big ace or big pair pre-flop. If villains do not have an ace they most probably cannot stand the heat.

Lead out and 3-bet...

Re: Top pair on a co-ordinated board...

Perfectly played.

Good river fold. You cannot beat both UTG+2 and MP2. Only MP2 hand which you can beat is QJ. It is tie if UTG+2 or MP2 has exactly KJ. They probably have better hands.

It is...

Re: 99 flops set, Big pot against LAG\'s

Hmm.

Does anyone have KK, QQ, KQ, K9 or K4?

KK and QQ is not likely if BB is LAG. LAGs almost always raise with premium hands. K9 or K4 are distant possibilies because flop got capped, but not...

Re: Can I call a river bet with T-high?

Calling is awful play, what do you think you can beat? If you know your opponent is habitual bluffer, you can consider raising. He most probably does not have an ace, so he needs a pair to call.

Re: A6c 3 way, fold I don\'t like anymore

Button play streams of pocket pair or flush draw. If he has pocket pair (22,33,44,55,66,77), you can be drawing dead. But flush draw with 2 face cards is also pretty likely.

As there is flush (and...

Re: A new site is coming out that is 30 cents max rake - for real mone

We will see if this monthly fee based business model will work. If it does great deal of poker and sports betting market could transfer to monthly fee based services.

Re: AKo button

3-betting is good option. Pot is large and you have good hand. You should not slowplay, but protect your hand. 3-betting will probably force SB out of the pot if he has only medium pair.

Re: very shorthanded preflop standards

But in blind stealing situations in a 6max game people are a lot more aggro, which I think would be comparable aggro to a 3/4 handed game.

This is true. In tough 3-4...

Why would you be able to play more hands for a profit in a 3-4 handed game as opposed to a 6 handed game with 2-3 folds in front of you?

Re: a question about downswings

If you play 10/20 $ 6max, 550 BB downswing is not impossible for winning player. But since you do not have over 100k hands sample it is hard to tell if you really are winning player.

Re: What would you like to see at a new online poker site

Lower rake could attract players. Current rake structure is extremely high compared to costs if site has traffic.

Re: Is not bluffing a leak?

You really cannot win any higher limits if you do not semi-bluff.

I.e if you...
