Re: Late action line check (22s)

I have to say, I was prety surprised that nobody said, "any decent player has Queens or better here; fold."

Then I ran the numbers, and even if opponent's range is QQ+, I'm only a 2.33:1 dog (to...

Why? Do you mean just in EP? In the 22s, I would play all pairs down to 22 if I thought I could...

I am just thinking out loud here, and as I say, I'm sure this isn't news to many of you. This is especially obvious to me now that I am looking over this thread another time. Oh well...

Re: Skill Difference Question between the $11 and the $22

I recently made this leap, and while the 22s are harder, they're more predictable.

You won't get as many people calling all-ins with KTo on the first hand, but you're also less likely to see...

Re: Rock and a Hard Place at the 22s

My own opinion, I'd probably be about the same. The A3 and the first Q10, when it was folded to you are probably the only hands I would push. The hand you went out on, maybe. I might fold...

Rock and a Hard Place at the 22s

So, I've been playing many more SnGs than I'm used to, and tonight I was in a situation I've never been in before... To my left were two big stacks, big enough that I was fearful of stealing the...

Re: Chasing your own money

Hmmm... I may be wrong, but I think that the blinds are your problem.

You're making even money decisions on each street, so they're +0 EV. However, you're putting in the blinds on each hand, which...

How are these charity games legal? Are there limits on the number of events per month/year?

Is this an statewide "legal" endeavor or county/city? Any info would be appreciated.

Re: Can I fold at the 11s?

Yup. I convinced myself that there was a decent chance that UTG had AA or KK, and folded the best hand. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

UTG had AK (and went all-in); shorty had 77.

I was pleased,...

Re: $109s - Push or Fold PT IV

So, do you figure out the calling range for opponents based on this model and then use that to do an ICM calculation to see if it's still worth it?

If so, do you eastbay's SNG Analyzer to do it?...
