Re: A less clear hand to comment on for the esteemed panel

AJo is marginally +EV UTG.

I'd like to know why you did not raise preflop. I am not saying that you should have necessarily. Some things are important though like

1) How the table will react...

Re: Christmas AQ Terror

This looks like a spot villain may be raising light.
I might prefer a 3-bet preflop.

As you played it I think you might be better off check-raising the flop rather than the turn.

Re: JJ Hand. Should I raise the turn?

On the turn you have OESD and if it hits you may claim the entire pot(since you have two of the jacks).

Call the turn.

nh.

Edit to add: villain would likely cap preflop with AKs also.

Re: Spewing w/ TT?

Easy raise in my book.

Set over set or two pair seem most likely.

Re: Best Christmas present you got

A rotating liquor dispenser.

It holds four bottles and fits perfectly on top of my wine cooler.

I filled it up with:

1) Grey Goose
2) Rumpleminze
3) Glenlivet
4) Stoli

Re: Bad positioning vs. Leader on Flop

Why didn't you raise the flop?

Why didn't you raise the turn?

Your hand is almost certainly the best on the flop AND turn.

Re: AKo vs. the mighty 3-bet.

By my calculation pot is 19sb back to hero on the flop.

The uncoordinated flop is a concern, but the pot is too big to consider folding.

I think SB most likely makes this move with a monster. He is not afraid of giving you the free card on the turn because he holds AK and figures you may fold to his bet so he mixes it up. If he is...

Re: pretty simple question

Villain called on a drawless flop. Check behind.

Paying off a turn raise and not minding because you have outs stinks in this small pot.
