Re: Las Vegas Trip - How should i book the room ?

I'm pretty sure the MGM Grand is the one casino where you need to be previously rated to get the poker rate, meaning you have had to play there before and have a card before they will give you the...

Re: Vegas Nightclub Question

I've been to almost all the good nightclubs out there, but since Tao is new haven't gotten a chacne to check it out. What dates are you going to be there, because I am definitely going to Pure the...

Vegas Nightclub Question

Maybe not relevant to the B&M poker scene, but I was just wondering if anyone has checked out the new Tao nightclub at the Venetian? I know the one in NYC is supposed to be good and wouldn't mind...

Interesting 2/5 Top Pair/Flush Draw Decision

Live 2/5 game. Hero has $325 both villians have me way covered. Have been at the table a while and both are playing pretty ABC, although MP1 is a bit looser than MP2 for what it's worth.

MP1...

What is a Half Kill game?

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong location, but I am traveling to Vegas next month and notice a lot of the card rooms offer half kill low limit games. Playing only at Foxwoods I have no idea what...

Re: Foxwoods 5/10 & 10/20 Kill Pot

I have never seen them allow a straddle on a Kill pot, but a blind raise UTG will certainly create a big pot.

Re: Foxwoods 5/10 & 10/20 Kill Pot

The games are usually very good and once in a while you will play on a table where the kill button never seems to leave, making it for all intents and purposes a 10/20 game with 200+ pots on almost...

Is this a good laydown? 5/10 Kill game at Foxwoods

Very aggressive 5/10 Kill @100 game at Foxwoods. I am perceived as pretty tight on the table at the time of this hand. I am in the cutoff with the kill button, meaning I have posted 10 automatically...

Should I have folded this draw 5/10 Foxwoods

Everyone at the table is legit, meaning their bets and raises are to be considered.

5/10 on a kill (meaning the stakes for the hand are 10/20.) I join three previous limpers with KQc from the CO....

When to play a hand like A9 or ATo

I find myself more often than not staying away from playing A9 and ATo from the majority of positions. For those who do play the hand consistently, what are the ideal circumstances in which it plays...

Clarification and results

Just to make note, the only reason I only had 70 dollars left when this pot came around is because I had lost from my original buy in, I did not sit at a 10/20 table with a 70 dollar buy in, just...

One of my first hands at Foxwoods 10/20

Decided today to play 10/20 at Foxwoods as the loose calls at the 5/10 tables have been driving me crazy. Playing for about an hour or so and down to 70 dollars left when this hand started.

Re: Hand for Review: JJ in MP

I think you played the hand well, with no reraising preflop you had to believe you were ahead in the hand the entire way. On a 10/20 table the only thing you could have been facing would be A2, which...

How I ended up playing the hand

Good insight, I actually decided since he had better position that my play would be to check and call down, unless another J hit obviously.

On the flop of Ace, rag, rag I checked, he bet, and I...

In depth 5/10 question

Playing 5/10 at the casino the other day and I think I misplayed a hand in a manner that allowed another player to get a read on me. Here is the scenario..

Staring at JJ in EMP with one limper...

Combating flush and straight chasers in Limit Hold Em

Yesterday at the casino I sat at a loose 5/10 table where anywhere between 4-6 of the 10 players chased flushes and straights every hand. When I say chase I mean stay in with any raise with ANY...
