Re: $11 TT L3

Look man, if you want to be a better palyer you must stop thinking about limping with TT at level 3. Period. End of story. It's just too good a hand here. It doesnt matter if you are rebuilding...

Re: $11 32s hit flush on river... now what?

I cant even believe my eyes... Why are you even calling any bets here if you are afraid of the flush you hit? If you are going to play this scared then just dump it to begin with. If you call to...

Re: $11 AK after flop

I don't know where you guys get this stuff from but limping with AK is not fine. Suited or not.

Re: $55 ITM: 77 facing a 2.5BB raise from constant raiser Bigstack

I'd call and play some post flop poker. You definately dont want to fold. BB might decide to make a stand here if you fold and then double up. By getting involved you make it more likely he folds...

Re: Tricky bubble hand

My bad, I misunderstood your intentions... Like a min raise? I sometimes do that if i thought button and SB would get out of the way. But with him likely to call it puts him in an easy spot to...

Re: Tricky bubble hand

Cmon, you have a hand. You cant let BB hang in there. If you fold, button folds, what if SB going to do? Will he push any 2 and put pressure on the BB or will he just limp? I always seem to run...

Re: Curtains Hand #2 12.30

That was a bad fold. That's usually when I go on tilt and go out of my way to bust his ass in 4th. Yeah, i'm not sold on the handle read..

Re: Curtains Hand #2 12.30

So based on your read of his handle he's not a great player. He does have a weird chip stack to call off $250 though. I am not sure what to make of that. I really dont like check folding here so I...

Re: Curtains Hand #2 12.30

This is tough. If he thinks villian is a good player, he wouldn't call off 250 with an A. He would either fold or reraise. So if he thinks he doesnt have the A, then checking to induce a bluff is...

Re: Rehauling my play. An early game workshop.

1. I can see folding, calling, or raising depending on the circumstances. It's probably close either way.
2. Just push. You have a good hand here with nothing to lose. Put the decision on them...

Re: $11 AK, missed 8 high flop... stop n go ok? (nice pot)

This looks much better. First, you only had one caller so its easier to steal the pot. Second, you had position and he already checked to you which shows weakness. Third, you nor your opponent is...

Re: $55: Overpair on paired board- Bet out or check raise?

Dont monkey around with this. The pot is big already. You want to take it down now without a fight. Your hand is too vulnerable. There is only one player left to act and even though he raised PF...

Re: $55 ITM: Flopped TPWK, scare card hit on Turn and facing 3/4pot bet

PF: Fold it. What are you even doing here?
Flop: Personaaly I'd bet right out and try to take it down right now witha big bet. OK, you decided the go for the check raise given that he would...

Re: $55 Quick check 1: 88 UTG

if BB is a good player, he'll come over the top with alot of hands.

Re: $55 Quick check 3: KJo on BB facing SB miniraise

Sometimes your posts are so math oriented without enough explaination that I (we) can't follow them. Anyways, the way I see it, pushing and calling are the two best options. I'd never fold this. I...

Re: $55 Quick check 3: KJo on BB facing SB miniraise

Lets ignore your little argument for the time being. Are you saying you'll fold KJ here?

Re: $11 AK, missed 8 high flop... stop n go ok? (nice pot)

This isn't a stop and go. It's a continuation bet. And a bad one at that. What do low level players like to do? CALL. So why even c-bet? The name of the game at the lower levels is value bet...

Re: $22: AQo in BB after UTG raise

What do you mean? If you have a read that he is a little too aggressive then its fine. Otherwise why even bother making reads if you aren't willing to pull the trigger and act on them?

Re: $22: TT in early levels

I could see arguments for raising or limping. I think raising is more +EV but limping may allow you to make ITM more often. I think more than anything it depends on your ability and your style. ...

Re: ($22): Top set on monotone board, go broke here?

I would call. MP2 raised PF so he could have just an overpair. button is short stacked so he could have anything. A lower set is possible. Even if button has a made flush you still have the side...

Re: KK: raise more on flop?

I don't necessarily think pushing the flop is a bad thing. The pot is big. It would be ok if you pushed and won it. There are several players involved and lots of draws. If they have an overpair,...

Re: $22: Push or wait with an uber short stack

Saying you guarantee you'll get a better hand is nonsense. You can guarantee no such thing and as 45s said, even if you do you may be against a better hand or two. If you are going to make a...

Re: Party $20+2: AKs first hand - Do we gamble?

[ QUOTE ]
The question I ask is, do we call this 100% of the time?

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes. You are getting 2:1 odds with AKs. You'll win far more often that that. Folding this is clearly -EV...
