Re: Flushes don\'t get any worse than this

call, hit the 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, go allin. Poker's easy./images/graemlins/grin.gif

That really stinks, but there's really no way you can call this unless you know villian to be an...

Re: Who likes my turn line?

Against 2 players calling $8 bets preflop I like it a lot:) You're drawing live against hands that are ahead of you, and something tells me these guys'll look up your bet with junk like AJ, AT etc...

Re: set heads up... tell me how to play this better!

Heads up I'd probably be reraising this on the river. A set is a monster here...

I also probably would have led out with a slight larger raise on the turn and river as well, but if you're...

Re: AQ Flopped TPTK and Flushdraw

If you call you've committed yourself to the pot effectively on the turn. I'd rather just get it all in on the flop.

Re: River makes my flush, but also pairs the board

Only reason I don't like calling in this situation is SB's stacksize. If SB decides to make a desperation allin bet on this flop, we're effectively sandwiched inbetween him and a preflop raiser. ...

Re: AJs, flop top pair + flush draw,.25/.50 NL, big pot

What I'm saying is that there aren't many hands that are "ahead". If you're commited to calling a push on the turn(which OP obviously was) then why not push when you have the best of it? Why call...

Re: AJs, flop top pair + flush draw,.25/.50 NL, big pot

You have 53% equity against KK, QQ. You are about 85/15 against AK. 43/67 against AA You are 30/70 against JJ. What "better" hands are there here? This is a profitable push, as you're getting...

Re: JJ in the BB - Foxwoods 1/2 hand

You should not go for a checkraise here. Your hand is vulnerable to overcards, you can't afford to give a free card.

If both players were to call this bet and a blank hits the turn I'd probably...

Re: Set of 8s with Q8397 board and strong player push

You should have reraised him on the flop, $10 or more. Checking this turn is bad as well, what if villian checked behind to take a free card?

Re: AJs, flop top pair + flush draw,.25/.50 NL, big pot

Villian limp-reraising preflop and having a set means he has exactly JJ. I sincerely doubt it. More likely he has AA or KK in these situations...I'd push against either of these hands here, as...

Re: AJs, flop top pair + flush draw,.25/.50 NL, big pot

You lose value on this hand if the turn comes and villian is ahead of you. Right now you are even money. Villian doesn't hate his hand, so push him in now and hope he calls. If he folds you take...

Re: AJs, flop top pair + flush draw,.25/.50 NL, big pot

allin on the flop.

Even if both villians have overpairs you have over 50% equity here, this should be an autopush if youre raised into here.

Re: River makes my flush, but also pairs the board

fold. And next time don't call a raise with 87s out of position.

Re: Flopped nuts - really stupid play - or very unlucky?

lead out on the flop for $6. You're worried that villian has the SF? I go broke with the nutflush here...sorry the villian had Q/images/graemlins/club.gif

Re: Pocket 7\'s early position

If you have 25 left on the river for a bet, why not just put it all in the pot on the turn and try to take it down right there or make his draw pay?

If he misses the draw he's more than likely not...

Re: AKs UTG

I'd rather be raising this here than limping. This is a hand that does play well multiway, plays even better with fewer players involved. Raise it and get crappy hands to call you and get some...

Re: Free Card or Fire Away?

Generally middle pair no kicker isn't a good hand against monkeys.

Re: Session Studies: is it that time again allready

I'm rockin the house at the 6:27am hour. I just saw four deer prancing around my "backyard". I wish I had a gun.

Re: Suited broadways - / + ev?

Hehe, I meant sometimes I limp them, sometimes I raise them...I don't think I've limp-reraised with any hand in NL or Limit.

Re: AA on xyy board (WA/WB?)

Calling all the way down is the way to go here if the opportunity presents itself. If villian decides to put in a crazy bet...I honestly can't see folding here, we're only beat by a 5 or TT...
