I probably wasn't clear in my post about why I was posting the twodimes scenarios. I agree with you on the issues of implied and reverse impied odds. In my opinion, the implied...

Re: 10-20 Stud8 Hand

[ QUOTE ]
Since it's a 6-handed pot, any equity above .166 means Hero is winning if it's an all-in. So at worst, hero is a small dog according to your calculations.

If by "winning"...

Re: 10-20 Stud8 Hand

[ QUOTE ]
Very nicely put grb. How much would your decision change if this was a 30-60 game with a $5 ante?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think changing this factor alone isn't enough to warrant a call. ...

Hang on...Maybe I'm not understanding things here but I don't see raising 4th in this position limiting the field. 4 people have already called one bet, you think they'll fold for one...

Alright, so taking Jeff's advice about the stud games on euro being super soft I took a shot at the 6-12 game. Let me know what you guys think. No reads on anyone as this is only about...

No, people do not call two big bets cold if they think they are behind in both directions unless they are very loose/stupid.

Re: Flushes are easy 20/40

[ QUOTE ]
One question that is important to think about is the following: if you were Seat 1 and started with a 3-flush, would you call Hero's bet on fifth street without the king of hearts?

Re: Flushes are easy 20/40

If I were seat 1 and had Aces up, I would make that same bet on 6th. I think many "decent" players would.

Re: 10-20 Stud8 Hand

3rd is not debatable at all - you are a dog in both directions...easy fold.

5th is a no brainer - you are a huge dog in both directions. Chances are high that you opponents have got 7s and 6s...

Re: 20/40 high: Couple of debatable plays

Also, if 4th were bet by someone, I think this is one of the few 3-flushes that I fold on 4th for 1 bet, even without my suit falling dead. Anyone feel strongly either way?

Re: Bring it

[ QUOTE ]

P2, P3, and P4 check it to me and I check along to P1 who bets, P2 calls, P3 and P4 fold, and I now raise. Both players call. Three of us to fifth for about 3.75BB.
