Re: JJ hand

i'm not very good...

Re: State of the Forum

YES, TOO MANY POSTS. legitimate discussions are swept away quickly and flame/no-content posts get lots of replies and persist.

I think it's a good thing.

Why? It shows that stupidity will...

Re: Multi-tabling...how do you do it well?

I don't know if my ROI would go up if I played one table. I don't have the patience to put in a significant number of touneys (oh, say, 200) on one table.

When I was younger, I used to play...

Re: Cheats, cheats, damn cheaters????

It seems feasable for them to devise some software that works as a trojan, anyone who downloads it may have their hole cards read from memory and sent to some central computer... this is not that...

Re: AQ UTG early fold right?

oh ok that makes more sense.. do you feel that TPGK is a high implied odds hand? If it were raised, and you got a nice flop, say, A27r or Q27r, and you bet pot, get reraised on the flop would you...

Re: AQ UTG early fold right?

Re: AQ UTG early fold right?

Well, I don't play it well enough..not utg... I'd probably play it more profitably at a higher limit (in terms of final placing), because the tightness brings more incentive to play early there. ...

Re: AQ UTG early fold right?

Why try to push marginal situations in a 5.5 game when you can play it safe and get to the bubble almost everytime? Is the risk involved to gain a couple chips playing AQo early in a marginal spot...

Re: AQ UTG early fold right?

Re: ed miller wiating until the turn raise

definitely. I just said "it's clear" that AQ should call. This is because of circumstances, this is a 1 card draw. If AQ misses the turn, he should fold the turn bet, if AQ hits the turn, KK has...

Re: ed miller wiating until the turn raise

I don't know the it's more complicated answering "is it profitable for AQ to call?" I actually avoided taht question. I simply said it's unprofitable for him to raise. That is clear.

Actually,...
