Re: Freerolling

Here's an extreme example. You have the red aces (Ad Ah) in hold'em. Your opponent has black aces (Ac As). You can both say you are free-rolling because you both have the "nuts" and you both can...

classic bluffer v calling station

I think you call a good portion of the time when you have a hand like this or the ace of spades. That way you can induce him to bluff if he doesn't have it and you can wait for the river to pop him...

Re: (55) QQ line

Maybe, maybe not. But I play the fifties also and I'll stick it in there almost every time. There are too many "AK losers" out there. Someone who will push with that hand no matter what.

Re: OT: HOW can i prove i\'m not a BOT???

Perhaps you are a bot. But it sounds like they are holding something back. I don't think their case is as air-tight as they are trying to make it sound (acting strong when weak).

It seems that the...

Re: this is an easy push right? 10+1

I was wondering the same thing on wether steal opportunities are few and far between. But with 500 and change left and 150 going in each round and you're up in the biggie (big blind) in a few...

Re: ($11) 72s Call an all in? I\'m not even kidding

Precisely. Even if you read someone for a strong hand here, in person, he likely has an overpair.

What I mean by a godlike read is like only if you posses x-ray vision could you fold here.

Re: Does the Leaderboard mean anything?

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say... well illustrated.

Re: You Gotta Do What You Gotta Do

It was a good stop & go. Well exicuted. The only justification for calling with this type of hand pre-flop is if you can stop & go successfully or if you have a really good read on your opponents...

Re: this is an easy push right? 10+1

I know what your saying. But at this stage a minimum raise from the cut-off is almost certainly a weak hand attacking the blinds. Your hand is likely good and if it isn't it probably isn't that far...

Re: ($33): All-in with a caller, AK out of position call/raise/push?

I think I'm mistaken here and I'm changing my answer to push. I thought the all-in was greater.

You build a significant side-pot with one of the best heads racing hands in hold'em. My thinking...

Re: ($11) 72s Call an all in? I\'m not even kidding

Agreed. Folding here is a waste of money without a godlike read.

Re: ($33): Push this draw? <10xBBs

I like this play a lot. It's a simple semi-bluff. Occasionally you'll get called by a JT and your K hi will hold. Most all of the time if you are called though you will have to catch your flush to...

Re: ($33): All-in with a caller, AK out of position call/raise/push?

I'd actually fold. AK is not a good three-way hand. There aren't many scenarios where you're a significant favorite and you're risking potentially all your chips!

Personally, I think good...

Re: this is an easy push right? 10+1

You're an underdog to any ace. But not much of an underdog except to AK AQ AA KK QQ. Since you hold the KQ in your hand there are 8 + 8 + 6 + 3 + 3 = 28 combos working against you. That's not so bad...

Re: Could you fold a flopped King High flush???

I agree. The most likely scenario is that he flopped a lower flush. In which event he is drawing dead.

The analysis doesn't even concider this a possibility.

Seems silly to fold.

You're right, there was little point to my post.

I just know that ESPN favors showing silly stories like these. Can't tell anything from TV was my point.

Doesn't matter how well you play the...

Re: DN, Im sorry

I'm just amazed (and amused) that you are influenced so much by TV.

Those hands for the most part played themselves.

If I'm running bad then I don't necessarily play a KJs in middle. Nor am I...
