True Poker Rake

When did True Poker change their rake structure?

Just reloaded to clear a bonus and have just realised that they now rake $0.25 every $5 at 2/4.

They should put a slogan on the web site "We...

If I had my time again I would have delayed reading HEFAP until after I'd played a WLLHE style for a couple of months. I thought I understood HEFAP but in retrospect my lack of experience meant I...

Results + a follow up question

Results are rather dull in that given the K /images/graemlins/spade.gif on the turn and my bet being raised I folded. It was going to cost 2BB to see a showdown that I'd need to win 25% of the time...

Re: QQ v Unknown facing turn raise.

[ QUOTE ]
First of all would i have capped preflop.

[/ QUOTE ]

QQ v Unknown facing turn raise.

I've spent the last few months playing a mix of games and limits and have decided to return to an extended run at full table limit ring. Unfortunately I think that all this jumping about as instilled...

Re: Hand against RiverLoser from the $2,500

When he went allin what hands did you put him on before you clicked call?

In the $10 tourneys I play I'd call in an instant and go broke, but in the big one early on against a good player who...

Re: Party vs. PokerStars

You get 5 FPPs for each $1 of entry fee, and 5 FPPs clears $1 of bonus, but they don't give out half points so for the tourneys with a $0.50 entry fee they round up to 3 FPPs. This means a $5 +...

Am I thinking straight?

Re: is this considered cheating?

On the poker channel in the UK they have a show called "The Poker Godfather" where a pro goes to an online players home and gives advice on how to play hands during a tournament. I don't think the...

Re: Skilled nationalities?

It seems people here back my long held feeling that players from the UK are for the most part absolutely terrible, some of the worst I have seen, any theories on why this is?

Re: Time to compare the rakes on all the sites?

I haven't done the math but on pure rake without bounses or rakeback I think Pokerstars will win the "Rake "War". I would be interested to know if I'm wrong.

It would also be cool to know how...

Re: We are on the move! - O Doyle\'s Army

Thanks Chris, for the good luck wish and for saying you would want to avoid wanting to be at the site I am playing at.

Personally I'd fold in this spot because not all...

Re: Poll -- What is Hero\'s error in this $33 hand

Your poll omits my preference which would be to open with a push on the flop. By going for the check raise with your now small stack your opponent has great pot odds and would struggle to now find a...

Re: Where to play 2/4 limit? Party, Absolute or UB?

I've only played 1161 hands of Absolute 2/4 but 964 of those hands were raked which may affect your calculations.
