The Golden Nugget is the nicest casino downtown, hands down. However, you are quite a ways from the Mirage and Bellagio. What you gain with the free room, you make up for in cabs.

I agree with all of Randy Refeld's analysis here.

Also note that sometimes, if the card was out of site for a moment, a strong floor might impound the pot and check the deck....

You are assuming wrong. If you dont believe me, come to Harrahs and toss your cards on the floor. It happened during one of the circuit tournaments. The player whose card fell on the floor didnt...
