too much? Level I 3xPOT push.

first level 10/20, $100+8, starting stack 2000, PR 10 man tourney.

I push 2k into 800 in a multiway pot. Is this way out of line, standard? I don't play NL or tourneys so I'm rather clueless.

Re: Wherein hero questions his trigger happy ways

I like the preflop cap. You've got button spewing and an overaggressive player raising OOP.

Either cap pf or raise (almost) any flop.

Re: K high river call

conversely, do you think villain is making a profitable play if he's bluffing here (obviously not if K high is calling, but usually it isn't)?

His flop c/r can't be a free card raise because he's...

Re: Is this dreadful? 44 on Party 3/6

I fold preflop, but with tight blinds and a high post flop fold % for CO, it could be reasonable. He's stealing a large range here but you're at most only slightly ahead.

If we consider villain...

Pocket Pair

I think the OP was using the term pair to refer to "two" as in a hold 'em hand rather than a pocket pair. Poor word choice.

Also, OP is trying to...

Just like party games when they get short. I think I'm missing out on some profitable situations when everyone but the donk leaves and I'm left in a 1/3 blind structure game with the big blind in...

Re: Odds of 3 people with pocket pairs all flopping a set in holdem

If three players see a flop, all holding a different pocket pair, then we've got (6/46)*(4/45)*(2/44)=0.0527% or 1 in 1897.5.

Re: Stat Question...

Also, a limp raise from some 45/20 donkey is usually junk, but a limp/raise from a 40/5 is often premium.

Re: Call 2 bets w/ flush draw and gutshot on turn?

His most probably hands are A4, AQ, KQ, JQ. The only reason I have for not 3-betting is that I'm not good enough to fold to a cap.
