Re: ($55) Aces full - a hand you don\'t see everyday

Re: Trying Multitabling SNG\'s

i think starting them at the same time is easier overall. once you get to 4 tables at once, you might want to consider staggering some because as anyone who has done it can attest playing more than 3...

Re: OT: A lot of you have ego problems.

how does what the op said solve anything? yes most people on here think they're better than they are, but all poker players do. is it really that much better to ridicule people for being jerks than...

Re: Short-handed play

why should he call?
to play devil's advocate, one player has barely over 1bb and the hero has twice as many chips as 3rd place. if hero wins the race for his stack against the button, he's in a...

Re: nut straight on the flop, how to play against aggresion with no redraw

this is completely player dependant. are you in position? how deep is the money?

if you're under 75 bb, you can just get your money in.

people underestimate the bluff equity in these kind of...

Re: differences in skill on Party 1/2 -vs- 2/4

as you know, players almost never play 600 or 1000 plo on party poker, so the 2/4 game features a stronger grouping of players than most games at a comparable stake. that said, there are still a lot...

Re: $22s: I flop a 17-outer from the SB, what now?

calling is fine. no sense in raising if you know they'll get their whole stacks in with top pair.

Re: An AK fold PF @ lvl2

when you guys do these calculations, you always ignore the fact that a winning player will outplay his opponents later on in the tournament. thus you should be risk averse in early blind levels. why...

Re: who are the good players at the 30sngs on party

the player pool is too big to worry about specific players
besides, if anyone gets really good, they're moving up in stakes. so you should really just worry about the actions of each player at your...

Re: Nut Flush Draw from BB - Check call on River with 2PTK

bad call. he's going to show you a straight draw that backdoored trips. you're only making this call against an opponent you know to be tricky and aggressive. you describe him as neither. your hand...

Re: Feedback on hand

first of all, dont post bad beats.

that said, you did nothing wrong, but if you were very worried about being outdrawn you could have simply called one of his raises and got your money in on a...

Re: AKs butchered on the flop (600NL 6-max)

when you check raised the flop, he's got position and needs to put 150 into a 400 pot. if he's got AdAx or a set, he's feeling priced in (or think's he's in the lead) and if he's got the flush...

the only reasons for leaving a game because you have a lot of chips are
1) you're not truly comfortable at the stakes
2)you're on a losing streak and need the confidence boost of booking a win...
