I stayed at the GS once on a weekend without the poker room rate and it was like $170. Very nice room, but since I spent almost all of my time in the casino, it wasn't really worth it.

There are a few nearby hotels. There's a Holiday Inn Express right up the street from the HS/GS that I stayed at once, it was like $100 for a decent room. You can find better deals in Memphis,...
