Re: my first shot at 10-20, 2 hands

Re: Don’t wanna tango with you, I’d rather tangle with him.

[ QUOTE ]

Re: What Qualifies As A Cold Streak For You?

[ QUOTE ]
I tend to describe cold srtreaks in 2 different ways. THe times you just lose money no matter how many hands you win, and the times where you just can't win a pot. THey are not necessarily...

Re: 10-20 Borgota a play from Clarky\'s book

I would 3 bet about 50% of the time and call/raise on the turn the other 50%.

BTW - What is the reference to Clarky's book in the post title?

Re: Bellagio Trip Report - Very Long

I have played $15/30 in both Canterbury and Bellagio. In general local players were better in LV and games were looser in MN. For example, a lot of players in MN would routinely play Axo even if pot...

Re: Waking Up one day and not being able to win??

Take a break, reassess your play and read Mason's article on variance in Poker Essays I. Losing streaks are part of the game.

There is very little correlation between wearing sunglasses and quality of play. Now add also wearing earphones along with the sunglasses and you have a whole different story.

Re: Newbie advise to other newbies

Good advice. I had a similar experience this summer. Took a break, reassessed my game and did some reading. I came back with a new attitude and plugged some leaks.

I would be worried about backlash from the better players. You are cutting into their positive EV. As regards the losers I don't think you can control how much they learn.
