Thankyou River !!!

Should I have folded this on the turn? I suspect I should have, but the pot was so large. I guess in the end button got what he deserved cold calling preflop with 87o.

Anyway the new year has got...

Re: 2/4: AK, A Free Showdown for QTip...

I agree with Silky that this is an excellent free showdown raise.

An alternative line which I probably would have taken (possibly incorrectly) is to raise the flop, bet the turn and check the...

Re: Tricky KJs hand

Villain showed down a pair of 2 /images/graemlins/club.gif 2 /images/graemlins/heart.gif to take the pot with a set of 2's. I guess I was lucky he did not 3 bet the turn or raise the river.

Thanks...

Tricky KJs hand

Bodog $2-$4 table. Table is generally loose but I have no real reads on villain except tht he was not noticeably loose or aggressive.

Hero is in cut off with K /images/graemlins/club.gifJ...

Re: Eurobet and Neteller diff. currencies?

Thanks for the info.

I just checked with Neteller and you can change from USD to GBP, but to do this I need to close my existing USD account and open a new account.

Re: Eurobet and Neteller diff. currencies?

Do you know if Eurobet accept accounts in GBP?

Currently all my Neteller account and poker accounts are in USD. This means I can transfer money in and out of the poker sites OK, but I lose out on...

Re: Free card, free showdown, or stay aggressive?

I would certainly bet the turn, but I think the river decision is quite close.

My natural instinct is generally to take free showdowns in these situations, if I have anything less than top pair,...

Re: I could only win a pot this big at InterPoker (low content)

I should have pointed out that button was losing about 70% of his showdowns. He would call on rubbish and raise with marginal hands. Obviously he had made a very good hand by the turn, but I figured...

I could only win a pot this big at InterPoker (low content)

Hi

I just had to share this enormous pot I won thanks to the unlimited raises possible in heads up situations at InterPoker.

Button was very loose and aggressive post flop. My final turn call...

Re: when do you slow down here?

The only hand that beats you is AK, but if MP is a TAG he can't have AK or he would have 3 bet pre flop, particularly if he things you are a LAG.

If you are cofident MP thinks you are a LAG I...

Re: What\'s your line for this one?

Without any reads I think I would check fold the flop, but perhaps I am just weak tight.

Almost all hands that 3 bet will have either an A or a higher pocket pair than 10's. The pot is small you...

Re: Waiting until the turn to raise

You must cap the flop. You have enormous pot equity.

The hands in which SSH recommends waitng to the turn to raise are those where there are a lot of dangerous turn cards. This is not the case...

PokerRoom Bonus

How do PokerRoom games at the $0:50/$1 level compare with Party/Empire are they just as fishy? If so this looks...

Selecting Tables at Empire $1/2

I have just moved up from $0.5/1 to $1/2

At the $0.5/1 table I was generally able to directly join a a table with 8 or 9 players and a relatively high average pot size.

At the $1/2 tables...

Re: Which is a better micro limit hand QJo or J10o?

Well it seems unaminous QJo is better and I just have a strange sample. I thought J10o might be better because it is more likely to make a straight.

I just ran a check on the Poker Room EV...

Which is a better micro limit hand QJo or J10o?

They are both group 5 hands and I think QJo is ranked 1 position higher than J10o, but I am becoming convinced that J10o is the better hand in the loose $0:50 $1:00 games.

I guess the small sample...

Re: How many raises is this flush worth?

SoCalPat got it right. UTG had Kx /images/graemlins/spade.gif so my hand is no good.

I guess also you are correct in that with 15 probable outs I should be raising the flop 1st time round.
