Re: Las Vegas live games question

There is alot of truth to what Photoc says, but having just returned from five days of poker, I would add a few details. The one trend I notice each time I go to Vegas is that limit players keep...

Funny thing is, I think it was the manager who made the ruling, tall thin guy with hair parted on the side, with an aloof way of carrying himself.

Re: Maldini Vegas trip report Part 4

"The last 2 girls I’ve dated, along with every female friend in my life thinks playing poker is equivalent to betting the ponies or playing craps. Everyone loses and it is just a matter of time...

Re: First Time in Vegas...

If you follow the wisdom here and based on my experience, I would say that the Mirage $6-12 is not an easy game, not fishy at all. I have found that there are never more than two tables and more...

Re: Staying at the Wynn next Tue-Sat (12/6-12/10), advice?

Actually, your thinking, at least in part, seems to be going against the current trend and my experience, $15-30 at the B is quite good. Don't know about the $20-40 at Mirage. Scroll down the B&M...

Re: Flights/Hotel deals for Vegas

If you only want to watch WSOP and play elsewehere, get a poker rate at a strip hotel - if MGM, Bellagio and Wynn are too much $$, go with Monte Carlo, great location and great poker room. I did that...

Re: Maldini\'s Vegas Trip Report part 1.

So far so good...a gang of us are off to Vegas next Friday and are staying at MGM but we heard that Excal NL is super soft, so more about game texture would be nice. Other than that, keep it comin'

Re: Press Release: Sklansky\'s \'\'WORLD POKER TOUR ALL-IN HOLD \'EM(TM)\"

Re: Gyms in Vegas?

Hotel gyms abound, yes, but if you are serious about your training you will run into problems, depending on where you are staying. Typically, hotel gyms often don't have enough weight - dumbells that...

We've got four or five guys going to Vegas the 9-14th - I am in the...
