Re: Edge on pro players?

I mean, by only knowing that a person never raises without anything than a big pair and never limps without a lower pair in the early rounds is a huge advantage.

As for one player having an...

To start it off: I...

Re: The right mix to make profit!

I think you play MTTs for the wrong reasons. You should play them to make longterm profit. Sometimes you win alot, sometimes you go a long time without winning.

In other words you don't play for...

Re: What should be my ITM/ROI goal single-tabling the $55?

Re: What should be my ITM/ROI goal single-tabling the $55?

Why is what?

He will never get to play enough to know his ROI. If he somehow do, the game will be totally different by then.

Variance is great even within 10k SNGs

Re: What should be my ITM/ROI goal single-tabling the $55?

1-tabling you will never know your true ROI anyway. No one really know their true ROI, but you will be even further away from it by 1-tabling =)

Re: How am I supposed to know that this is +EV?

For me this depends on how tight BB is of course, when blinds go up and my own table image.

ICM is only a helpful tool, not always the correct play.

Re: Ethical situation

I once played a MTT. Beat 660 people to get HU and then he disconnected with the chiplead. I almost broke my mouse raising that fast.

This is nothing and you don't even have a samplesize.

I went -ROI for over 250 sngs at 10+1 and i know people have been on the negative side for more than 1000 sngs.

Re: Push/fold hands

I push hand1 too because if you fold through blinds you're basicly relying on winning a showdown to have a chance.

Re: Results - 200 Party 10+1 SNGs

I'm crushing 10+1 and I had -ROI for 250 SNGs (with 35% ITM). I don't see how you can evaluate someones game after only 200.

Re: How bad were you crushing the 11\'s when you moved up to the 22s?

If you feel bad about a beat in the 22s maybe your bankroll isn't large enough. If you had $2-4k would you still feel the same?
