Re: OESD+Flush draw...do you call?

I don't think that the general 5/10 speaks for suited one-gappers, but maybe we heard different versions.

I'd be worried that the BB had a higher flush draw (A /images/graemlins/heart.gifQ...

Re: This Post Is Easy To Respond To

[ QUOTE ]
So when can I make a 2/3rd pot bet instead of a full pot bet?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think that quite often a bet of 75-90% of the pot will seem to someone else like a 'pot-sized' bet. So, if...

i don't know the answer to your questions, but try a search in SSNL for the word "miller" in the subject.

Re: When somebody chip-sandwiches you !!

you are probably far behind and 50/50 at best. no way this action is coming from a lower pocket pair. fold.

Re: My Story -- Bankroll help!

Interesting story! Yeah, you were playing way above your bankroll.

The standard is 20 full buyins for any level, which says that you should have at least $500 to play the NL25s. If I were you I...

Re: ATo - When do I get away from this?

yes, it's playable, but not if you are looking to win with only 1 pair. it's easy to lose alot playing it as a pair of aces, especially when the board outkicks your kicker.

What do these stats tell you about how well the OPer estimates implied odds? or their ability to estimate their winning chances when calling a river bet?

Re: ATo - When do I get away from this?

good point.... i wouldn't call there with the intention of hitting a top-pair hand, i'd be looking for at least 2-pair, maybe a pair and a draw.... or something better than top-pair.

AT is only...

Re: im such a fish

post the stats on the 'main' line for you on the first tab, the line with the game, #hands, VPIP, BB/100, WtSD, W$SD, PFR, etc.... and include your aggression factor.

that would be a place to...

Re: ATo - When do I get away from this?

you could get away PF, AT is not a great hand, especially when it costs you 2xBB to see the flop. i would probably call also because of position, but you could get away there and it would not be...

Re: 69 BB Flops straight-Too fast?

yeah, i think that is a little too fast. you do want to bet, i'd bet $10-12, with the intention of getting it all in the next possible chance.

Re: Bottom set on \"family pot\"

45 is the only draw to be afraid of, so i'd either:

a.) check it. if a 2 or a 7 falls after that and you get resistance, let it go. otherwise, try to get in as large of bets as you can that will...

Re: Pocket A\'s and two pair on board. How to play?

1.) PLEASE use the hand converter. It is hard to see what is going on here. And verify that the action is right afterwards because sometimes it gets things wrong.

2.) With a raise and reraise PF,...

Re: Have u tried playing 1 table?

yup, you're right, playing one table and learning individual tendencies is a solid way to play, and will give you greatest +EV if you are good.

however, playing a large number of hands and gaining...

Re: Stupid fish (bad beat post)

yup, they are dumb fish.

but i think that it was a bad play to raise pre-flop any one of the three times. AQo is not that good of a hand, and is easily stackable from AK. just call the first time...

Wasn't there talk of a sticky FAQ back when xorbie was being promoted? Sorry if I missed that discussion, but why isn't one of the FAQs up, are they still in progress?
