Re: um, QQ fold preflop?

[ QUOTE ]
I fold here almost everytime. I call a push, but it'salmost always AA or KK going part way here. It's not a bunch of limpers being raised, it'san utg raise and a bunch of callers. I'd be...

Re: Did Party get rid of Final Table Deal Making?

For some reason only certain tournaments have it. I have not been able to discern any logic behind which do and which don't.

Re: Mixing Up your raises

[ QUOTE ]
A minraise in that situation is the biggest tell ever of a good hand.

You should basically never min raise until the end of a tourney because doing so gives the blinds the correct odds...

Re: Mixing Up your raises

[ QUOTE ]
As for the use of the min-raise, IMO the only time it is a good idea is when the blinds are high enough that simply calling it would tie your opponents to the pot. In this situation, the...

Re: Party Software Gliche (unreal)

I had a similar problem with a straight flush against a lag. Party gave me back the $$ I put into the pot in the form of a bonus with x hands to clear.

Re: Anything wrong with keeping my bankroll in my Neteller account?

Thanks for the replies, I do not have enough money to make interest payments worthwhile yet. Although if the fish on Party keep spewing like they have been this weekend...

Anything wrong with keeping my bankroll in my Neteller account?

I don't like to keep more than a buyin or two on any given site, is there anything wrong with keeping the majority of my bankroll in Neteller?

Re: Winrates?

To track progress - Pokertracker or ExitOnly's excel spread sheet.

Bankroll - 50-100 times the buy in. (50x sng)

Winrate - Shoot for 100% ROI and 20% in the money, although even that might not...

Re: Very weird thing in the Party 30+3 rebuy + a

Indeed, for that reason I generally consider the actual buyin on these to be 5-10x. Thus I plan to spend about $50 on a $5. I think it is worth it since the upper end of the prize pool is equal to...

Re: Very weird thing in the Party 30+3 rebuy + a

Re: Multi-Tabler\'s Stats

5% final tables and 20% ITM is very good, probably unsustainably so.

Re: TPTK, OOP against a big stack

Is big stack aggressive, meaning will he try to take this pot away from you if you check? If so you might want to checkraise or even check call if he will make multiple plays for the pot. Of...

Re: Does stalling late in tournies actually do anything for ya?

The only time I find stalling to be effective is when my table gets short handed for a minute due to multiple busts. In that situation I might stall a minute to get some new players. I do this for...

Re: Let\'s come up with a chart for moving up in NL MTT\'s -

Sklansky's "System" in TP4AP is very effective in micro MTT. I found adding a limp reraise allin option from EP improved my results a lot. Limp JJ UTG, when donk raises with Ace rag in LP you...

Re: Let\'s come up with a chart for moving up in NL MTT\'s -

I try to cover the buyin by fifty time. When my BR shrinks to 50 times the next level I drop down. So if I had $150 I would play $3's until I had $50 then I would play $1's.

Re: Mason: 2+2 Book Binding changes in 2005?

[ QUOTE ]
How about going to hardcovers?

I read the crap out of these books and they wind-up looking pretty beat after a while. I would pay a premium for a hardcover, no problem.

There is only one hand you are behind and the pot is worth fighting for, so unless you have some sort of specific read PUSH!!!
