Re: ($11) TP bad kicker on moderately drawish board

At an $11, you can bet less on the flop and get the same effect, 25 would be fine, I would check/call the turn except to a severe overbet. I think your river bet was fine.

Re: Party 10+1 Bubble Question

I think I would've called the all-in here to not realizing how bad of a move it is. I assumed a top 20% hand for the initial push and a top 5% hand for the caller and its very -EV

Re: Damned if I do....

First hand, you have to gamble and hope he has A junk so it's only one over.

Second hand you played it right if you wanted to get the most chips in the pot, if you wanted to get the rest of the...

Re: $11 PP push?

I make this mistake too; building too big of a pot on a draw without a hand, I say raise less PF 45-50, and CB bet 1/2 of the smaller pot around 75-80. Check call the turn to a reasonable bet.

Re: $11 Push with 53o?

I actually did the numbers by hand, like a good student should, and it was .88 -EV with a range of 22+, Ax, Kxs, K9o+, Qxs, T7s+, 97s+, 87s, 76s, Q9o+, J9o+, T9o. So my question really is can I...

Re: $22 AJs Bubble In a Raised Pot

If that's the range you put him on you're ahead. Easy push.

Re: $5 - QJs in BB, hows my line?

I think your line is fine. At this level, 2/3's of the pot on the flop is plenty. I might check the turn and call a reasonable bet up to say 200.

Re: $5 - short stack with 55.

I would let it go. Shorty in the Big Blind probably comes along for the ride and I don't see the Big Stack folding, so you're at least in a three-way pot.

So with Hand 1, if I thought I could still win, which I did, I should've have just pushed?

Re: How often is this push a flush? Stars 16 Turbo.

That's why I would fold it pre-flop. I realize you're getting good odds to call, assuming the BB doesn't decide to steal. It seems that most times when you catch a piece of the flop, like here,...

Re: How often is this push a flush? Stars 16 Turbo.

OK, but what's your play if someone made a pot size bet after you checked that flop?

Avoid these difficult decisions by folding pre-flop.

Re: $11 - Pocket 7s in the BB on the bubble

I haven't pushed in 20 hands. SB has completed or limped probably 40-50% of the time in the last 20 hands and has not shown much agression post flop, primarily min-bets or check/folds.

Re: $11 - Pocket 7s in the BB on the bubble

That's what I did. I was wondering if I should just see the flop because of the relatively equal stack sizes. My thinking being that maybe I should slow down and let someone else do something...

Re: Slow play set on a dangerous flop?

The limp is okay, but yeah, I do agree it takes some post flop skill to be able to play, especially if you're raised from late position. I sometimes do play 5's from here. It depends on...

Re: 11: Ak first hand

I'd call. If you're up against one pocket pair, they'll probably call a push and you're on the wrong side of a coinflip. If you hit the flop, you might be able to get someone's whole stack playing...

Re: How to Play the Early Big Stack

Don't play any differently. The tendency is to loosen up your play but you're not going to push around any donks, since they don't know what's good or bad anyway.
