Re: Joe cassidy\'s A high call on the river

If Joe isn't holding the Ace of diamonds there, he folds in a heartbeat.

well, home games tend to be illegal anyhow so who cares.

This statement is completely untrue for the state of NY.

The ONLY time a home game here is considered illegal...

Re: PokerGrade yourself!

How big is the export file supposed to be that you put into PokerGrader?

Using the PokerGrader client and picking Poker Tracker and using 5000 hands only gets me a 20 byte exported .gz file.

Re: I think I played it perfectly

Without reading the rest of this thread yet so I can try and throw in my unbiased opinion, here it is.

I think this was played badly. Based on your stats of him, theres no way he is going to 3 bet...

Re: Is this collusion?

I personally feel if you are friends enough with your Boss to invite him to a game, then you are friends enough with him to sit down and have an adult, calm conversation about what went on.

You...

Re: OK to check/call this river?

[ QUOTE ]
So it's safe to assume that the best play here is to bet the river. If I'm raised can I find a fold here?

Re: Flop decision w/ ATs

Definite fold for me here. Flop is too coordinated.

Re: Average saw flop percentage for the entire table

I still do not see how they can possibly know you use PT, unless you are doing the auto request/import hand history. If you are paranoid about that, just play a session and then request the hand...

The ring games at Stars are fairly tough (relative to other microlimit games). They're definitely beatable, but it's a night and day difference from the Party network.

Re: Wow, I am terrible

I usually 2 table .05/.1 , then when I play .25/.50, I 1 table it.

I tried mixing 1 table .05/.10 and 1 table .25/.50...and that seemed to calm me down a bit on the .25/.50 table, to see my play...

I am having the exact same problem going from .5/1 to 1/2. I can see my opponents making plenty of mistakes. Problem is, I am making more. My WSD% is creeping up. My cold calling way up....

Wow, I am terrible

I seem to be having a problem moving up a limit, and I shouldn't be. This is very nano/micro stuff, but it is killing me.

I started my bankroll at $25 on Pokerstars. I have built that up to $120...

Re: A flopped straight hits massive aggression.

I would put em on a set of 2s or 5s on the flop, possibly 2 pair with A2 or A5.

Either way, all of the possible hands I can put him on pretty much screw your straight. I call the raise on the turn...

Call the flop

Fold the turn

River goot.

Why do you like it better if I had no read on MP2?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because our raise would induce that little punk to check to us on the turn.

You're actually getting 7:1 to hit your 6 outs (I discounted your T outs pretty heavily).

I don't really have a problem with this hand. I might not raise the flop, but I think it's...

I don't limp here.

I'm not crazy about the flop raise, especially if MP2 is likely to 3-bet and lead at you. The CO calling gums up the works a bit also.

The turn call is also...

I like flop raise. If your read is correct then MP2 may have a queen and gaybet the blank. The turn call is ok, you may be behind but have odds to improve. River is nice. I hope you took...
