Re: Stars - > Party Transfer

When I talked to Neteller two years ago they informed me that I needed a land line. Perhaps they've changed, perhaps if I hadn't said anything it would have been fine, but that's what they told me.

Re: Stars - > Party Transfer

Neteller requires a land line for an account. I only have a cell phone, not a land line. Since my sister works for Rogers (a cell phone company, amongst other things) I get a pretty sweet deal on...

Stars - > Party Transfer

*yada yada yada* I will transfer first. Neteller doesn't work for me because I have only a cell phone.

Just looking for $100 to play a *fairly* juicy 3/6 game on stars. I will transfer you...

Re: 50/100 NL hand vs Far

Did you consider checking the turn here? I would always do that because a 4 and an ace are pretty disguised, and he might try to bet the hearts (or have them).

Re: Limping In

If you games ever average 5 - 6 players to the flop, always raising first in is a mistake.

I like calling twice unimproved more than raising here.

Re: T8s in front of a rock

108s advantage comes from opponents that pay you off big when you hit big hands. It is a great hand to call a raise from a rock in NL, but in this particular spot preflop I would never play it. ...

Re: Preflop Aggression: More or Less Luck?

Thinning the field is a myth. You almost never gain 'folding equity' and defining your hands to your opponents only makes them play better.

Re: Hand from last night - action inducing line?

My default is to raise this flop, but checking is good to. I would call quickly. It'll probably just make the clown think he has to bet more to win.

Re: General question for you buys about BB/hour rate

Crazy lag with a wad full of cash opens for 20. I raise 100 more with AA. He agonizes and calls saying "it's hard to make this call".

Folds for 50 more on the flop. 22.

You've read too many books and not played enough poker if you think
A)
he won't call with AK / AQ
B) he knows your hand range
C) He can't have AJ, QJ, 10-10, 22 here.

Re: 100/200 vs walkover

Any two cards over 10 probably muck to a flop bet, minus maybe AK and AQ. That's alot of combos to get rid of.
