Re: AAxx situation I find difficult.

Check/raise all-in is good here. You dont really mind a free card because you have the nut flush draw, and since villain likely doesnt have JJxx or 88xx then he might well bet the turn (but no big...

Re: 5/10: QQ vs. lolo

I think I'd rather bet the 150 myself on the flop against lolo. He most likely figures that when you check that you dont have an Ace, because of the /images/graemlins/club.gifs on the board. He can...

Re: I love draws?

[ QUOTE ]
I like raising in these spots in general. I find it very annoying when I call and miss the turn; at least if I raise I can continue with the hand.

I find it more...

Re: Close one - counting outs excercise :)

[ QUOTE ]
I made a mistake with counting outs when making my decision so its probably not that close as I thought. I forgot that I had 10s so it make one out more. So basically its easy I think....

Re: Close one - counting outs excercise :)

Easy call right.
I counted your outs twice, and its about 1 million.

Pot laying 2:1, and you are good more often than that.

Re: 3/6(6-max): AKs flops gutshot royal

Check behind on the turn.

but since you did bet, just call the minraise and hope to hit a /images/graemlins/spade.gif He gives you 4.5:1, and he will pay you the other 200 if you hit (so 6.5:1)....

insta-push.. i smell a draw the whole way.

i'm not so sure i agree with the checking the flop.. at least put something out there because if you check and give him a free card and a K or an A comes.. you have no clue where you're at...

Re: 3/6 QQ

You dont want to check-raise this flop.
What happens if you get called?

If I called pf, then I would either check/call flop and lead turn (folding a raise), or lead at this flop.

Re: AA faces all-in overbet on the flop

Limping with the intention of raising is not a bad plan on an aggro ten handed table.

However, once its folded to button, you are faced with something not so good. You are out of position, with...

Re: 5/10 QQ gives me heartburn

5/10 6-max
LagRaiser is pretty laggy. I have reraised him about 4 times in recent times, so I thought I would take a different line this time.
Reraiser recently opened UTG with A9o, I called and he...

5/10 QQ gives me heartburn

Re: 3/6: KQ flops TP, turns two pair

MPs overcall on that flop is pretty scary. I like to try to lead the turn through him, to see if he likes his hand. I usually like to lead the flop through the limp/caller, cos he often has a PP, and...

I would lead for $10 and hope to get raised by a big overpair.

Do you always like to gamble for 250BBs on a 50/50 shot?

Re: Common problem with super-draws

What exactly is the problem? What is a good line?

You can play such a strong hand in a lot of ways.

I kinda like lead for pot - if raised then just call (you have immediate pot odds). I then...

Re: Common problem with super-draws

I'm assuming villian was the PF raiser. Unless villian has AKc or AQc you probably have the best hand if you can get to the river. I would lead for $10 and hope to get raised by a big...

Re: 2/4 NL. Someone explain this to me

Just call the flop, why are you raising in this spot on this flop given that UTG is almost certain to call, and there are loads of ppl still to act.

Just call the 15, watch utg go all-in for 17,...

Re: Guy puts a sophisticated play on me in a dry sidepot

You cant call the 50 unless you think you have the best hand, and if you think you have the best hand then you should push preflop.

That would prevent you from getting into this spot. Either fold...

5/10 Flop top two, play too fast?

5/10 6-max
