empire says you need a cd

I downloaded software through empire500, then deposited using the empire500 code. Empire Poker wouldn't give me the 100% bonus, saying I needed to "download the software from the cd".

I gather...

empire500 cd?

I made my 1st Empire deposit with the empire500 code. Empire won't give me the 100%, saying I should have loaded the software from a cd. This seems like a little false advertising to me, since the...

Re: Never seen anything like it

I had a +$70 hour playing a party .50/1 tables. A bb a hand!

I saw a guy win $900 in probably 6 hours of 3-6 b&m (while I took $300). He hit buckets of straights and barrells of 2prs. There were...

Re: Is Harrington\'s 2 straight final WSOP tables a best ever?

I nominate Phil Ivey winning 3 bracelets in 2002.

I am very interested in Harringtons performance this year, as I think he is one of the "top tourney pros" who is good at dealing with the kind of...

Re: Not officially the \"final table,\" but pretty sure this is standard

[ QUOTE ]
If you recall last year's ESPN broadcast, they were down to 10 and all players were at one table. Ivey and Moneymaker got into the boat over boat hand (I believe Moneymaker hit an A on...

Re: Greg back over $5mm

My problem is: Vorhaus implies that they will play 10-handed AT ONE TABLE. That can't be right. The final table is 9-handed, it has been every year so far as I know. Heck, every table has been...

Re: Does anyone know how Hellmuth got knocked out?

Hey cool, their final event blog is by Jon Vorhaus. The guy is actually an effective and entertaining writer.

oops, he\'s out.

Well, Mr. Laing ain't in the tourney no more, as of end of day 2. After starting the day with that many chips, I guess he played a wee bit too nutty.

Nothing wrong with Duke

Nothing wrong with what she said or how she said it.

The negative comments about it are totally made up.

Perhaps she understated how much an average tourney pro should outperform the field...

Re: How do you play this?

If there were no limpers before you, I think you played impecably. But, the limper changes things. With the limper, and 12 1/2 times the BB, I would think about limping, playing for the set or...

right, this is what i never get. personally i think the idea that he blew his money is totally bogus, but let's say hypothetically he did blow it all the rver next day.

Re: 6 person SNG. Everyone disconnects but you, what do you do.

You're in a car race. Everyone but you suffers mechanical failures. Do you:

1) continue moving at best speed?
2) park your car untill some of your competitors have made repairs?

Put that way,...

Re: Sorry, I am too shocked to not post this bat beat story.

Uh, I think you played fine.

As to people playing the way your opponent did, some people just think that you are always supposed to raise pf with AJ and similiar hands. Recently, in a b&m multi, I...

big final hand in Party 1/4 mil

I observed todays' Party 1/4 million from 4 tables to the end. The big leader at 10 players remaining blew it in two hands to take 7th, and the player who finished him/her off looked unstopable, at...

Re: 2 hands from $20 NL multi on Party - 20 players left

About the 1st hand: I think the fold is correct. Your best scenarios give you 40-45 % chance to win, and an overpair and two over cards give you around 18% chance. I also disagree on your prospects...

Re: World Series of Poker entry fee

The real problem with the "low" $10,00 entry fee is that either the event will take too long or will have faster structure and lose legitamacy. This year the final is seven days, with two flights in...

It's great that they are covering events besides the final. I hope the WPT gets a 7-stud event.
BUT, it kinda sucks that we have to wait untill mid NOVEMBER to see the end of the main event.

Huh?

You'll have to eplain that better.

As far as I can see, players at a slow have less cahnce of advancing far due to less consolidating, and good players certainly suffer from having fewer...

It would be nice to know how many players are left. But, since you have 900 in blinds coming up, I'ld say push, yeah.
