Re: ($11) Bubble hand critique -- messin\' with the big stack

[ QUOTE ]
Meh...I'm not limping anything after L3 (generally). You can't/shouldn't call a push-over from button...and personally I wouldn't want to give SB any notion of going after "dead" chips (on...

Re: How to respond?

[ QUOTE ]
Oh and I am sure the advice is right. I called, the flop fell:

[ 3c, 2s, Jh ]

Seat 3 bet 250 and I folded.

I couldn't bear folding AKo preflop, but I didn't have the guts to push...

Re: (22) How can this call be -EV$?

[ QUOTE ]
Devil's advocate: I think this is a call.

It appears that against most ranges ICM shows a amall loss of equity. But if you win, you're now the big stack. Which means when YOU open...

Re: OT What does Citanul mean and what\'s in a name?

I detonated at a muckety-muck meeting. One of the departments had their collective heads up their a** and my group was being crushed because of it. The SVP called a quick break after my "little...

Re: [OT] I can\'t do this anymore.

You may want to go back over some of your hands to see if you're making good decisions or not. That cuts the problem in half -- nothing to do about good decisions and bad beats. If, on the other...

Re: Would you call?

Interesting hand and I can empathize with hesitation -- scare card on the turn and the push to go with it. Though, when you walk back through the betting sequence the story doesn't seem to add up. ...

$11: Bubble hand A9s in a push fest, easy fold?

$11 at PartyPoker. Blinds are 150/300 and the last few rounds have been uncalled pushes (everyone has had a turn with that move). Last seen flop was an all-in pre flop push where SB took out the...

Re: An Irieguy post I\'d like to hear more about (Blind play Lvs. 4-6

Not sure about the upper levels, but at the $11s I find that a lot of 6th place finishes means tight play that didn't get any hands levels 1 - 3. Gets you into blind trouble and you have to switch...

Re: $11 88 Lvl3 UTG+1 What do you do?
