Re: Leak? Open limping with small PPs in EP 10 handed

no, implied odds are usually too great to not limp.

Re: AA facing flop raise allin (?!)

"I think a higher reraise preflop is correct, I have trouble doing this with AA because I want them to stay in the hand..."

This is a REALLY bad thought process to have. Just because you have the...

Re: Need help folding Aces

How do I play this hand differently to either win the hand or lose less money?

Number of pots won and money won are two completely irrelevent concepts in poker. Worry about maximizing EV, which I...

Re: Can I make this call?

I don't think a call there is even debatable. You put in your CB like you were supposed to and got raised, time to give up. Also, pot sided raise PF is 2.25, I'd make it something like 2.5 tho cause...

Is this fold too weak?

No stats, no reads. I think I was just being scared money.

Re: BB special vs tricky player.

I'm not sure a rational person would put 30% of their stack in on purely a /images/graemlins/heart.gif draw here, even with the A /images/graemlins/heart.gif. I can see draw + pair here, as well as...

Re: Folding a set of aces on the river

You had the ace of apples and the right position for a semi-bluff on the turn. You should have fired again there. You I think you have fold equity there, and if he comes back at you you have a redraw...

Re: Black aces - TAG leads into me

Three players, oops. Raise here, fold to 3bet sounds about right. 30 or 35 sounds about right.

Re: HUGE flop

My thinking is that he is unpaired here more often than he is paired. I think any additional cards on the board will help. I'm looking for him to pair a hole card or pick up a draw to second best...

Re: should i just set him in?

I think that the times when minraising is correct are rarities on par with royal flushes. I, like Cloutier, think it is a bad idea to vary your bet size in any major way. Fold, Check, half-pot,...

Re: HUGE flop

I couldn't disagree with Leptyne's assessment more.

a) 9s full of 8s is the nuts on the flop, hate to break it to you.
b) Villain is a clearly a suspected blind thief, which makes sense because...

Re: HUGE flop

Clearly by the texture of your post you have a theif at your table, and you wanted to bust him. Obviously you found the hand to do it on. Now you have to bust him. If you think he is a thief, then...

Re: should i just set him in?

Whatever the probability that a shove is a bluff or not, I don't think you'd ever wanna call a like that at low limits. Wouldn't it just be better to wait for a better spot? If its a real flush, you...

Re: Strange Action -- JJ vs. an all-in raise

Don't discount the AQ or the KQ hands so quickly, and maybe not even the QJ hands either. Some players make those calls. $6 with no implied odds sorta rules out 44, so dont worry TOO much about that...

Re: NL25 Tough spot with 99

Yes steve, but the bet pot button makes continuation betting on UB really easy. I also can see overcards here. The pot on the turn (I think everything leading up to the turn was played fine) is half...

Re: should i just set him in?

I agree with beavens etc here. Although there are other hands that can be played like this, the turn bet more than anything else indicates that villain picked up a flush draw. River looks like its in...

Re: Strange Action -- JJ vs. an all-in raise

Hand 1 I see a fold a pretty much the only clear choice. What hand do you think he'd do something like that to you with? Certainly not air... which is pretty much all you beat. Even 99 and TT I see...
